location and room
internet problems 30 held on my card for incidentals. If I give you a card, charge the card for what I get not $30. Seasonal only hit tub
Alicia was amazing! I called about trying to get an extra bed for my son and she was gracious and helpful. Waking up in your hotel on my birthday when I have to bury my grandmother that day was going to be hard. I appreciate Alicia making it a little less stressful.
Rooms was fine
Front desk staff “ Debbie?” Very short with her responses and seemed bothered with your questions.
The hotel was very comfortable and every employee I talked to was so nice. I always get a little nervous with the free breakfast but it was really good (and I am super picky). One day I had a mini egg omelette with veggies in it and the other i had an egg frittata! I would absolutely stay here again if I came back for business. My room was very spacious and I enjoyed the full kitchen.
We traveled with two small dogs and got charged a high amount of $ for a deep cleaning service. I hope whoever stayed after us got that deep cleaning because we smelled nothing but dog urine for our stay. Very disgusted and disappointed by the amount we paid and service we got.
Debbie was so polite and patient with my requests in order to help me be comfortable during my stay! She gives hospitality it's meaning and the hotel was clean and a great stay! Thank you.
The breakfast was good. A lot to choose from but the facilities were not up to my standards for cleanliness. Mold on the bathroom curtains and the tub and shower both were dirty. The room had not been swept from the previous guests and there were fingerprints all over the cabinets and things were very worn down.
The cleanliness of the entire property.
Convenience and location.
Great experience both times my family of 4 and I stayed here in the past 30 days. We arrived late at night for both stays and Patricia M. was welcoming, kind, and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. And the mattress was to die for. Having a kitchenette made our lives so much easier while traveling with babies. Special shout-out to Janet, who manages the giant breakfast spread. She truly is The Best.
We are so pleased with our experience that we’re making this our official half-way stop between home in the East Coast and family in the Midwest. I highly recommend this location
We had a weather emergency and Alecia was immensely helpful in accommodating a request for a room close to an entrance on the ground floor, for our elderly Pomeranian to easier access the property and also as not to disturb others, as she is still quite a barker. Rooms are soundproofed enough that you don't hear all the guests coming and going as much as you do at most hotels. Providing a nice relaxing environment. Highly recommend
Everything was fine for our situation.
room was very nice staff was amazing
there was cereal under the bed and at the edge of the bed on the carpet and something . They charged me 100.00 pet fee and the room isnt clean going into it from people. Breakfast was cold I mean the only thing not cold was the oatmeal was warm ( not hot) and the food wasn't very tasty. Was a disappointment compared to past stays when they had better food.
Pets in facility including in dining area. So unsanitary.
I've stayed here several times and it's always been an excellent stay. Very close to I-90 making the Cleveland area easily accessible. Rooms are in excellent condition. Parking is convenient. We've enjoyed the outdoor pool and fitness center. Very good breakfast buffet. The customer service is excellent.
I would especially like to thank Alicia for being expecially attentive and providing exceptional customer service.
Thank you,
We stayed for the weekend for our scrapbooking retreat. Debbie checked in with us before she left for the night and Janet had the conference room stocked with coffee, water and ice every morning! They are always accommodating when we need something. We always enjoy our stay!
Is it possible to give more than 5 stars? I traveled to Mentor to visit my father who was in hospice. I stopped at the hotel at 2AM, exhausted with no reservation...just a hope that I could get a room at a decent rate. Patricia, the night manager, found me a room at a very reasonable rate which was a huge relief (I was prepared to sleep in my vehicle!). Her manager, Alicia, extended that special rate for the entire week as I didn't know when my father was going to pass. I've stayed at thousands of Marriott hotels all over the world and I can honestly say that I have never experienced such kindness and compassion like I did at this Marriott Residence property. It's a newer property with beautiful, spotless rooms and the breakfast is just delicious! I was in a heartbroken state and these wonderful ladies made it bearable for me. They took good care of me and I can't express enough how much I appreciate it. This is the hotel to stay at if you're in the Cleveland/Mentor area as it's located near many great stores, coffee houses and restaurants, but quiet enough where you can get a good night's sleep for whatever lies ahead. Do not hesitate to stay here, you'll be happy you did! This hotel has heart!
My husband and I were staying at this hotel when his heart went into AFIB. Being in a strange city with no family or support near by and not knowing how long I might have to stay at the hotel by myself, I can't express how grateful I was for the staff, especially, Elisha, the front desk manager. She was concerned and helpful in a very stressful situation.
Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. My husband ended up transferring to another hospital and I ended up moving to another hotel closer to that hospital. It was in a sketchy area and I was not comfortable there.
I would recommend the Marriott Cleveland Mentor to anyone. It was in a safe area, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were wonderful.
We ended up coming back and staying another 2 days so that my husband could recuperate before we headed home. This time we used a 2 room suite to accommodate our children who had flown in to help their parents.
We used the laundry room due to the additional time we spent in Ohio and it was so nice to have that in the hotel.
