Once again, housekeeping fails at a Marriott hotel.
Pros:

This is a nice hotel and we had a big room. It's 2 blocks from the baseball stadium, which is why we were in town.
But housekeeping was horrible. We had no shampoo in our shower. There's no excuse for that with the big bottles they use now. We had no paper towels in the kitchenette.
We asked for our room refresh at 11:20 am as we were going to the game. At 5 pm it wasn't done. We waited 90 minutes and gave up. We just got fresh towels.
The hall on the 5th floor desperately needed to be vacuumed.
With attention to housekeeping issues, this would get 5 stars.

Downtown Cleveland's Sweet Spot
Pros:

Location was key. Hotel was in walking distance to food, shopping and sightseeing. I highly recommend staying here, the benefits certainly outweighed the small mishap.

Cons:

The distance between lobby and my room was very far and then there were steps that did not accommodate the luggage rack.

Short lived
Pros:

I was impressed of how big the room was + having hot plates was a bonus + the bed was comfy.

Cons:

All was going well until I was awoken by the sounds of a little mickey in the kitchen & my husband ended up on also seeing a roach while he was brushing his teeth eww. Which is why I didn't give my experience a great score, because we ended up having to change hotels as we are not fans of those creatures + didn't want to be traumatized even more. The Hotel did refund me the full reservation and I'm thankful for it.

Fantastic valet
Pros:

Jonathan (JT) at the valet was fantastic. I got in late on a Monday and he was extremely friendly, it made the drop off very easy. he was also very knowledgeable of the area and property and answered all my questions and gave me all of the local recommendations. He was also there on my checkout, I ordered my car and it was there within minutes. Not only that but he remembered our interaction on checkin! Really can’t say enough how fantastic the valet and check in experience was at this property.

Pros:

Hi there! Jonathan was one of the best valet experiences I’ve ever had in my life. He was so attentive to all of my needs. When I walked outside he offered to get me a chair. He’s so sweet. He held the doors open all the time. He got my car very quickly so efficiently as well again opening up doors helping me with luggage. All of my needs were met and then some Jonathan is an asset to this company in any company he might work for.
