Very much enjoyed our stay at Margaritaville and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff
Pros:

We continue to stay at this establishment for several reasons: 1) the staff has always been very friendly, professional and helpful, 2) it is ideally located for our purposes, 3) the rooms are comfortable and have kitchens for eating in, 4) the generous breakfast buffet is complimentary with your stay, and finally, the pool is a reasonable size and heated.

Cons:

Maid service was inconsistent and the room kitchens could be upgraded for more in unit cooking.

My wife and I stayed at the Compass Margaritaville Hotel on Tamaiami Trail in Naples, FL 2/21 - 2/22. We had an issue with the shower over our stay and I mentioned that in my review of our stay. Expecting that the information would go unnoticed, I was pleasantly surprised. Tracy N., General Manager of the property, reached out and offered to welcome us back to the property with a generous offer. You don't see that effort much these days and we appreciate the attention to detail. We will gladly return. The shower glitch was the only issue and that was resolved. Otherwise the property has a lot to offer on every aspect. Food, drinks, staff, pool area etc

Hidden Gem
Pros:

Compass Hotel is a gem that makes you feel like you are at a beach resort but away from the crowded tourist area. Approximately 2 miles from a beach and close to every restaurant and shopping. The rooms are modern, immaculate and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel and will absolutely be back. Go see Monica at the It's 5 o'clock Somewhere bar. She was so friendly and gave us amazing service. Great spot and you will not be disappointed.

Pros:

Used to be a Staybridge and they have certainly jazzed it up. Lovely patio area and super staff. BUT the carribean music is loud, constant and inescapable. Both in the lounge and patio. Can be hard to carry on a conversation. The bar certainly is the main focal point of the lounge area and is well attended especially during happy hour. If you want quiet day in the sun, not here. Get a VRBO instead. I'm guessing their ideal customer is a deaf alcoholic.
