We got a corner room with great views. Parking/Valet was exceptional. Efficient staff when we arrived.
Construction around the hotel.
Classy
Expensive.
Loved the hotel and location. So many amenities in the hotel that we loved.
The $50 parking fee was a surprise.

Easy checking, very accommodating with check in time. Overall clean and plenty of room space. Beautiful hotel.

Stayed in this hotel twice recently. A histrionic property with newly and beautiful renovation. Service staffs are super nice, friendly and willing to take extra effort to satisfy the customers. Also, it is the walking distance from central west end where many nice restaurants and from BJC/Wash U medical center. Highly recommended!
Historic, elegant hotel set the stage for our family wedding. Although old, hotel was immaculately clean in rooms and events. The biggest surprise was the outstanding staff throughout the hotel. From the front desk, consierge, restaurants, room service, housekeeping and wedding events, all details were handled with friendliness and professionalism. Because of the staff, the Chase Plaza stood out above other elite hotels I have visited.
Location and beautiful Christmas decorations!
Decorated wonderfully for the holidays.
Nothing
Someone came out the moment I arrived and the check in process was very smooth. The hotel was decorated above and beyond for Christmas and the many restaurants and movie theater really made it feel like more than a hotel (which makes sense because it shares a breezeway with an apartment building). The neighborhood was very walkable with a handful of small shops and restaurants. Everything felt very safe. Beds are very comfortable and the black out curtains don't have any gaps. Also, there were plenty of toiletries provided.
The carpet in the guest rooms is old fashioned and plush. The toilet in the bathroom sits very low to the ground. The hairdryer did not have a straightening attachment.
Iconic landmark hotel in a charming neighborhood.
Absolutely nothing! Loved it!
Location is within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and local shops. Valet is $50/day, self park is $40/day. On-site restaurants are great, steakhouse was excellent but very expensive. Decorated beautifully during Christmas. There is an onsite small Starbucks but we didn’t use, there’s a normal Starbucks just 5 min away. Only negatives were no full length mirror in the room, only mirror was behind sink in bathroom, and construction noise next door to hotel.
I believe the Chase was remodeled at some point. We lived staying here. King Suite is fantastic, with lots of room. Keurig in room, big tub, big walk in closet. Hotel superbly decorated for the holidays. Very good breakfast off the menu, fun bar and Excellent Tenderloin Room restaurant.
Put a dimmer switch over the wall buffets in the Tenderloin Room! It’s a bit too bright along the walls.

Attended a wedding in StL with the Chase Park Plaza as the host hotel. Very nice and luxurious, at a reasonable price! We hadn’t stayed there for a while; it’s been nicely redecorated.
This is a historic yet luxurious hotel with all the things one could hope for! First, the staff is so friendly and professional. The lobby is very impressively designed. There are multiple options to dine on site. It has an attached parking garage. It located right next to beautiful Forest Park, where you can find the St. Louis Zoo and Art Museum and lots of trails to walk. The astounding Basilica Cathedral of St. Louis is just a couple blocks away, within walking distance. There is an outdoor pool that looks lovely, although I didn't get to enjoy due to time of year. The room was just beautiful, and I slept like a baby, so peaceful and quiet. A nice surprise was that they upgraded us to a King Suite, so I really felt pampered! I am looking forward to my next visit.
