Hotel con tanti servizi e un ottimo staff sempre gentile e disponibile, ottima colazione molto varia salato e dolce.
Molto bella la piscina interna.
Il ristorante ha pochi piatti ma molto buoni.

Silkeborg Scandic har altid stået for mig som noget særligt. Jeg har kommet der, siden hotellet blev bygget. Mine børn plagede om, at vi skulle bo der, selv om det egentlig var i Herning, vi skulle arbejde med en designudstilling – to gange om året, en uge ad gangen.
Scandic havde et lækkert, rent og nordisk interiørdesign.
Nu har jeg haft en pause i udlandet, kommer hjem og booker Scandic Silkeborg – og WOW! Sikke en designmæssig nedtur, jeg fik. Både på værelset og i restauranten.
Selvfølgelig kan man trække naturen ind i en restaurant – uden at forsøge at kopiere naturen! Her synes jeg desværre, det er gået helt galt. Og ovenikøbet har designet ødelagt noget af det, der skal fungere og være praktisk i en restaurant.
Blandt andet er gulvet så rustikt, at de tunge, klumpede stole er ret svære at flytte og justere, når man sidder og spiser.
Og så maden.
Ikke siden mit besøg på en meget lokal bodega har jeg fået så dårligt kød på en restaurant. Jeg er ikke typen, der laver et teater for mine egne penge på en restaurant, så jeg nævnte det for tjeneren, da jeg skulle betale. Hun beklagede … og det var det.
