Sheraton Khalidiya Hotel

Quite comfortable, good bed, good sleep.
Friendly and helpful service, especially Jose at the concierge's desk.
The hotel is not all new, but that does not matter.

It’s called a Sheraton, but it’s not affiliated with Marriott. If they lost their connection to Marriott, it’s well-deserved.

Staff at the front desk is slow.

It was a company-paid stay, but they did not request or offer that I leave a card to pay for extras. As a result, they held my laundry until I went down to ask about it after 10 pm. Then when someone delivered it to my room, they wanted to be paid.

Food is marginal, at best. Housekeeping came sometime after 8 pm and my room smells like cleanser now.

Can’t change the room temperature. It was 16 degrees C in my room when I arrived. 24 hours later with the a/c system completely off, it has gone up to 19 degrees C—still too cold for me.

Won’t be coming back here.

Best hotel loved it , very friendly staff, amazing breakfasts, kids enjoyed the pool roof top ,gym and spa , everything everywhere was verrrry cleaan

Very bad service and experience the staff are the the worst but I think they have wrong rules to work, Sleeping at 7 am and I was ordering an amazon delivery the delivery arrived and they refused to recieve it even for 1-2 hours until I wake up.
And no one I can talk with.

We reached the hotel in the evening after landing in Abu Dhabi. The check in was smooth and the room was large and comfortable. While we were advised that we could use any of the two restaurants, the one on the ground floor is avoidable. There is a bar and people smoke there. They set up a table for the four of us in an adjacent room but the menu had very limited options and service was slow. The breakfast on the first floor was okay — not great. The property is around 700 Metres from the beach, so you can go for a walk or a run. But make sure you start early.

Poor customer service and unhelpful staff

I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with the customer service. Any time I made a request — whether it was something simple like asking for an extra towel or inquiring about a late checkout — the staff would immediately say "no" without even taking a moment to check or offer alternatives.

My stay at Sheraton Khalidiya, Abu Dhabi, during a recent business trip was a good experience overall. The check-in process was acceptable, but there's room for improvement—especially in providing smoother guidance for international travelers.

The room carried a classic style, was clean, spacious, and provided the right comfort for rest and productivity. Sleep quality was good, which is always a plus after a full day of meetings.

One highlight of the stay was the meals—offering a wide variety of local dishes, all prepared fresh and full of flavor. A great introduction to the Emirati culinary experience.

Location-wise, the hotel is strategically placed near Khalidiyah Mall and just a short walk to Corniche Beach, making it easy to unwind or grab necessities between business agendas.

Overall, a good and recommended hotel for business travelers seeking comfort, local atmosphere, and convenience in central Abu Dhabi.

The Hotel is Old .. outdated compared to other hotels in UAE .. spent 1 night, found no soap, no shampoo, no body wash in the morning. breakfast was Ok. kind waiters

Clean rooms, good facilities for the price, walkable to corniche.

We booked this hotel to stay near Cleveland Clinic for an important medical appointment for our family. Initially, we reserved the room for two days, but due to unexpected visa issues, we couldn’t check in on the first booking. The hotel kindly called us the next day and graciously rescheduled our stay without penalty.

When we had to postpone again because of delays in securing a doctor’s appointment, they once again accommodated us with incredible understanding and flexibility. When we finally arrived, we were warmly welcomed.

We are especially grateful to Rachelle, who went above and beyond in helping us during a very stressful time. Her kindness and professionalism made a huge difference, and we truly appreciate the support we received from the entire team.

If you’re looking for a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests, this is the one. Highly recommended.
