There was absolutely no microwave we from out of town there needs to be one on atleast on one floor
We had to continue to buy food could eat our food from steak houses we went too unfortunately
Parking cost $32.00 per night.
I drove from California and my son flew and rented a car when he arrived in Houston. He paid for parking in the garage and suggested that I use valet since I walk with a cane. Didn't know the cost of valet parking was $44.00 a day until we checked out. There was a sign but it was set back along side the valet's desk and it was partially obstructed by plants. I tipped the valet person each time I used my car, which was every day of my stay, thought the cost of parking was a bit excessive.
Very nice hotel.
No microwave in rooms
Everything was so nice.

Cleanliness - we found a toothbrush in one of the beds and a needle lying on the floor. The floor had not been vacuumed.
I reached out to management via email and they did not even bother to respond.
Location, cleanliness, condition of property is excellent
Price for breakfast is outrageous for the quality and it ain't worth near as the price that we paid.
The location was good and it was nice and clean.
The sewer smell that hits you as soon and you hit the double doors from outside.
Everything else besides what’s indicated in the next box was good. The dining experience was great.
The main shower head did not work and the drain drained to slow forcing you out of the shower too soon. This occurs for both guest's showers.
The WiFi service was slow and weak reception.
The hotel was ecstatically pleasing and the room was clean and cozy. The artwork throughout the hotel was very chic and well thought out. The halls and elevator to the room were clean and mainly quiet. Our room was clean; we had no issues with housekeeping. Staff was a hit or miss. The associate who checked us in was very upbeat and approachable (female, brown skin, twist/locs with honey highlights). Other front desk staff didn't even bother to greet us and seemed uninterested.
Maintenance staff, dining staff, and valet staff were kind and helpful.
The pool area was well kept and also nicely designed. I found it to be a relaxing area.
The location was ideal, close to the Galleria, Water Wall, and shopping and dining within walking or short driving distance.
We had a large roach (alive) in our first room. I called the front desk and maintenance came right away. However, we had to ask to be moved to another room. They did honor our request. It was 5am and no complimentary service/add-ons were offered. I did ask for complimentary breakfast and they did honor the request. My issue was nothing was readily offered for the inconvenience (pest, inoperable parking garage elevator).
The elevator from the parking garage did not work. We stayed three days and the elevator was inoperable the entire time. I believe I read previous comments regarding issues with the parking garage. This leads me to believe this has been an ongoing issue. For $32 daily (self-parking), repairing the elevator should be top priority.
The food at the breakfast buffet was decent. We received complimentary breakfast due to the pest mishap. However, the price per person was $28. I didn't think it was worth the price. If it wasn't complimentary, I would have dined elsewhere.
