The reservation was cancelled by the hotel for some kind of mistake, it can happen but is not nice . I expect booking.com to reward with the price difference as per mail received from booking customer service

Posizione eccezionale , hotel confortevole
Pros:

La posizione era eccezionale !! Abbiamo avuto una camera spaziosa , luminosa e pulita con 2 letti singoli molto grandi con balconcino vista sul teatro, sul fiume, sulla città e sul casco antiguo . Personale molto gentile, bello anche che ti lasciano un bigliettino scritto a mano in camera con 2 bottiglie di acqua in omaggio.

Cons:

Noi abbiamo scelto l’ultimo orario della colazione , dalle 09.20 alle 10.00. Forse estenderei un po di più gli orari anche perché alle 09.20 c’era ancora gente seduta a tavola .

Top location & great rooms
Pros:

Amazing hotel - probably the best you can find in the old town of Bilbao. Room was very spacious, and included another sofa bed, which turned out to be a big fav by kids. View from window is lovely, and you are literally in the center of everything.

Pros:

Amazing location! The hotel is located near one of the entrances to Bilbao’s old town. My room included breakfast. I had an early morning flight that left before breakfast was served. They prepared had a picnic breakfast for me. It was waiting at the front desk on the morning of my departure. Having a big bag of sandwhiches and snacks really came in handy on the long flight back to California!
