Excellent staff and facilities at the Level lounge. I would strongly recommend anyone to book a Level room to take adavantage of the excellent and friendly staff.
Absolutely nothing
Hotel di altissimo livello, ottima colazione. Tutto super pulito e profumato. Camere grandi e spaziose. Palestra super attrezzata. Nulla da dire.
The location
Too many noisy neighbours and allot of bass noises causing disturbance to our sleep
I stayed here together with my uncle when we visited Vietnam for the very first time in April 2026. We booked a Level room, the the top floor of the hotel. We had access to the Level Lounge(Similar to the Executive Lounge of the Hilton hotels) and the food in the Lounge was SPECTACULAR! They served prawn cocktail with large prawns and grilled prawn skewers EVERYDAY, among many other hot dishes! The variety of drinks was superb too, this Level Lounge is far better than the Lounge of the Melia Jogjakarta Purosani in Indonesia and much, much better than the Executive Lounge of the Hilton Da Nang and Hilton Saigon.
Check-in was very smooth and quick, our check-in took place in the Level Lounge on the 20th Floor of the hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean, the air-conditioning worked perfectly. Our bathroom had all the amenities you would expect from a 5-Star hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The buffet breakfast in the main restaurant on the ground floor was excellent! This hotel is within walking distance to many major tourist attractions in the city, including Hoan Kim Lake, the Old Quarter, etc.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here very much. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Hanoi.

Food can be better
We loved our experience at the Melia hotel. The staff was so helpful and kind. Hieu was a hospitable hostess and we loved getting to know her. She offered great recommendations for restaurants and places to go. The location was perfect, it was central and quiet.
The hotel was magnificent and the staff were very well presented and polite.
Just a brilliant place to stay. Comfortable, clean, everything is quality. The staff are exceptional and determined to make your stay a happy one - special mention must go to Huy, Thoa and Tu who made my stay pretty much perfect. Gold star for the cheese omelette at breakfast! The gym is good too. Seriously, not sure I have a bad word to say about the Melia Hanoi or its staff, I'll be back!
