Breakfast is very good, a lot of choices. Services OK, not excellent, as I saw twice used/dirty cloth used to wrap up clean forks for new customers, which is annoying. Room sink leak water, not solved for the whole week, no apologies from services either.
location
The staff where exceptional everywhere and truly made me feel so welcome and well taken care off. Loved the spacious yet comfy room set up and super variety at breakfast. If you get a chance, head to the Spa for some extra relaxation.
Está en una zona muy buena de Hanoi
Las habitaciones tienen moqueta y huele a humedad
Great business hotel in central Hanoi - a big one, western-style and international standards (i.e., could be anywhere else in the world but the food). If you are in Hanoi for business, and look for a "feel-like-home" place, this is for you because again, once inside it could be in the US or any other western countries. If you are looking for something more local and typical or romantic when visiting Hanoi, then you may be dispppointed. Having said that, huge lobby, lavish and amazing breakfast, large and confy rooms, high tech bathroom.... everything you expect from and international-class hotel. The outdoor swiming pool is a plus! Melia is not really a place with a soul as you get it - but someting highly functional and practical.
Perfect for a business trip. Comfortable workspace, fast internet, and great service made my stay productive
Some guests felt the hotel was expensive relative to Hanoi’s average rates, though many agreed the service justified the cost
The food at the breakfast buffet was amazing. Hotel room clean and nice. Gym well equip and pool a great place to hang out and relax if you want some down time.

Hieu was amazing!! Very attentive, catered to our every need :)
The Melia was amazing and near a lot of places! It is so accommodating! When I first walked in, I was shocked at how beatiful and classy the lobby looked! I went up to my room and it was amazing! The view was great, the bathroom was so clean! It was so quiet in the hallways I was wondering if there were even other guests staying! I love when hotels have complementary water in the rooms, because after a long flight, I definitely needed to be hydrated! The staff were all so amazing and kind, and especially Hieu. She was so friendly and easy to talk to! Her service was incredible too! When I first saw the price of this hotel, I thought it was a scam! No way the hotel was as good as it was advertised with a price so low! But Melia proved me wrong and this has been one of my favorite hotels!
The hotel lobby is just a glimpse into the beautiful building of Melia. There was Melias signature scent and kind faces working the hotel. When we got to our room , we noticed complimentary water and the cleanliness. We had a good nights rest thanks to the amenities of the hotel like a sauna, and Jacuzzi. The next morning we went to the buffet, and the food had lots of selections to choose from. A waitress, Hieu, was especially attentive and made sure my family was comfortable at all times on the dining room. She came by to check on us and always asked if we needed anything and gave a kind farewell as we left. Overall, I can tell how much the workers in the hotel are devoted to the guests and appreciate their work on devoted to the clean and comfortable rooms.
A well appointed modern hotel, in the heart of the city.
Unlike most hotels in/near the Old Quarters that are severely restricted in space, the Melia is spread over an ample area. The rooms are large, have huge windows, and the toilets are sufficiently big. They have all the modern amenities, and are comfortable and pleasant to stay in.
The breakfast spread is better than the lunch buffet, surprisingly.
Everyone—from the staff who helped with our luggage to room service, the concierge, the pool attendants, bartenders, and breakfast team—was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so attentive and kind to our family.
We traveled with our two children, ages 10 and 12, and my husband and I truly felt taken care of throughout our stay. Their recommendations for places to visit were always perfect and made our trip even more memorable.
We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Hanoi. We’re already missing it!
What a great experience, especially want to say thank you to Hieu, who always looked after our needs. very kind, helped with site seeing & keeping us relaxed and comfortable
