ME Ibiza - The Leading Hotels of the World

This was our 3rd summer in a row visiting and won’t be the last. We love this hotel, from the moment you arrive the service and welcome is amazing. This time we were upgraded to a suite and would definitely recommend this room,
It was beautiful, spacious and overlooked the sea. The balcony also had sun all afternoon.

The pool area is gorgeous, and always plenty of loungers. We ate lunch at the hotel both in the restaurant and around the pool and both meals were good, as was the breakfast.

As loyal guests who have stayed at over 15 properties within The Leading Hotels of the World portfolio, we know exactly what standard of luxury and service to expect. In our opinion, this hotel does not deserve to be classified as an LHW property. Our family holiday here was a bitter disappointment.
We booked a "Beyond ME+ Junior Suite with Sea View." To call it a sea view is quite a stretch; unless you bring a telescope, you will struggle to see the water. Furthermore, the room itself was poorly maintained, featuring a carpet that was visibly threadbare. It is highly misleading marketing for a premium suite category.
The atmosphere around the property was far from relaxing. Music was played around the pool extremely loudly, continuing non-stop all afternoon with no regard for guests seeking tranquility.
To make matters worse, the hotel enforces a policy where staff remove towels from sun loungers if you step away for longer than 30 minutes, making it incredibly stressful just to grab a light lunch or use the restroom.
The final straw regarding the lack of housekeeping standards was in the reception area. There are three swing chairs; the one we sat in had chewing gum stuck to it. Shockingly, this chewing gum was still there three days later, proving a complete lack of basic attention to cleanliness and detail.
We have attached images of our concerns to this review to clearly demonstrate the lack of standard. This hotel completely fails to deliver the luxury, peace, and service that LHW stands for.

Wow! What can I say about this hotel?? My wife and I chose to spend our 20th anniversary here and I am so glad we did. As soon as you arrive you see how this hotel has the “IT” factor.

Walking through the doors and seeing through the open plan are directly to the main pool you instantly know this is a special place. The views from the roof will take your breath away.

From check in they make you feel so special and you can see the staff have been trained so well in how to keep the guests happy.

We stayed 5 nights and were so happy with the views from our room, waking up to blue sky’s and a bright blue sea everyday with floor to ceiling windows.

Food was excellent, from the buffet breakfast to the fine dining options in the evening…excellent.

Special mention to Rafa, who was so attentive by the pool, Miriam who hosted at Origens and actually all the staff because they were superb! Great hotel, great staff and I highly recommend

Very well settled hotel. Very good breakfast. Helpful staff… and that’s it all.
Being LHW member, and even the Nikki Beach and Thai Spa like neighbors can’t improve your disappointments from the small and cheap furnished rooms. They can’t provide you even with a king size bed. Maybe they predict that all the guest of the hotel will be about 5 ft tall and very slim. Also, half of the rooms don’t have terrace.
As a LHW club member who reserved 3 rooms I’ve asked for an upgrade, they replied - we are full, but it’s visible (also from their website) that the hotel is not more than half occupied. I understand that €900+ per night is a normal price for the high season in Ibiza, but it much overpriced for the offered accommodation.
They provide a double sun beds on the pools for a minimal spent of €100, or €150 (roof top) but they are always empty. I’m wondering why they don’t cut their price half and sells them out.
I’m also wondering how this hotel is a LHW member, because nothing extraordinary can be found here.

Paid through the nose, but a great, great hotel. Killer views. Killer rooms. Staff is impecable. Food is good. Pool(s) were great. Beach access is nice (not the nicest, but still access). Nikki Beach access is a nice. Design is on-point (albeit some construction is shoddy and it shows… probably a bigger issue in a few years when it really starts to show).
Overall highly recommend if you can afford it. I honestly don’t think the value totally matches what you get, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s a great hotel.

My first impression wasn’t perfect. When I checked in, I was initially surprised by the size of the room, as it felt smaller than I had expected. Fortunately, everything else about my stay more than made up for it.

The hotel has two beautiful pools, each with its own atmosphere. The rooftop pool offers incredible panoramic views over the coastline and is a fantastic place to relax, while the main pool is equally beautiful and has excellent service.

The staff consistently stood out throughout my stay. Whether I needed my umbrella adjusted, had a question, or requested something for my room, they were attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. One small detail that impressed me was that although there isn’t an ice machine on every floor, whenever I called for a bucket of ice, it arrived almost immediately.

Breakfast was another highlight. The selection was outstanding and far exceeded the typical hotel buffet. There was an impressive variety of high-quality options, including real champagne, not cava, and a Bloody Mary station featuring premium spirits such as Belvedere vodka rather than lower-end brands. There were also fresh pastries, local specialties, seafood options, and plenty beyond the standard bacon and eggs. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had and reflected the level of quality I expect from a luxury hotel.

I also treated myself to a massage at the spa, and it exceeded my expectations. The massage itself was excellent, and my therapist was fantastic. The spa facilities were beautiful and included a private relaxation pool as well as excellent shower and changing facilities, making it easy to enjoy the experience before or after treatment. As someone from New York City, I also found the spa pricing to be an exceptional value compared to what I would typically pay at home.

Although I didn’t end up using the fitness center, I did take a look at it. It was spacious, well-equipped, and, most importantly in the middle of an Ibiza summer, properly air-conditioned. It’s clear the hotel puts thought into all of its amenities, not just the pools and spa.

As a sports fan, I also appreciated that the hotel offered an excellent selection of international sports channels. Being able to watch Wimbledon during my stay was a great bonus, and I imagine soccer fans would appreciate having access to major tournaments like the World Cup as well. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a difference when you’re traveling and don’t want to miss a big sporting event.

Another unexpected gesture that I truly appreciated was being offered a complimentary 3:00 PM late checkout at no additional charge. That extra time made my travel day significantly easier, and it was a thoughtful touch that reflected the hotel’s excellent hospitality.

Overall, while the room size wasn’t quite what I expected, the exceptional service, beautiful facilities, outstanding breakfast, relaxing spa, well-maintained amenities, and generous hospitality made this a wonderful stay. I would absolutely return and would gladly recommend ME Ibiza to friends and family.

Beautiful, modern and clean hotel. First impressions as you walk in are gorgeous, a lovely, light, clean and gorgeous smelling inviting area which opens straight out to the pool with stunning views.. there are two pools, main pool and adults only rooftop pool. Both have dj or music on and a good vibe, however there are not enough beds with umbrellas for the amount of people, and there are beds that are reserved with a minimum spend. For paying guests this is ridiculous that you should have to pay for a bed in the hotel you have paid to use already.. half the beds were reserved and no one sat on them all day despite staff saying they were booked.
Service was slow and not very attentive around the pool area. Breakfast service was slow and took ages to get just a tea or coffee, however food was plentiful and of good quality.
Bedrooms were beautifully presented, although the furniture was large and chunky and took up a lot of space. There are very few rooms with balconies just doors with a juliette style barrier. Turn down services was provided although they did try to come at 6pm before you had even had a shower from the day so should have been later.
The location of the hotel is what let's it down, whilst the setting couldn't be more beautiful, right in the beach with stunning views trying to get out and a taxi was rediculous. Taxi waits were 40 mins plus each night, there is nothing in a short walk so a taxi is a must, its around a 50 min walk to Santa Eularia main port or 10 euros in a taxi when it comes...we would not return to this hotel because of the location.

Location = beautiful setting, about 30 mins from airport/main part of the island.
Beach directly outside/on sight isn't particularly large. beautiful sea setting tho.

Beds and pool area is very nice.

Breakfast is very nice.

Room - I just am not a fan of the design of having the bathroom and bedroom together as one. I don't like that you can shower and be seen from the main bedroom. It doesn't particularly look that modern anymore.

The rooms also should at this level has usb points (a or c) by the bed as standard,

Gym = nice (although no legs machines).

Service was fine.

Not always easy to grab a taxi. We were having a problem locating one from a remote location late at night to return to the hotel. I called the hotel for assistance and they said they could not order a taxi for me outside the hotel (which was not the most helpful from a 5* hotel!).

Other than that, it was a nice place to stay but not overwhelmingly so.

Negative points
-Food is just ok and a tad over priced
-The standard rooms are quite small and impractical, bathroom in room with minimal privacy and storage. We upgraded, and wouldn’t recommend the standard room.
-location is quite secluded, taxis needed (book through receptions and not under, much cheaper).

Shout out to the lady with orange glasses who did everything she could to ensure we had the best stay and were comfortable in our new room. The guys on the door were great, and greeted us with a special welcome.

Overall, we had a great stay and was gutted to leave.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and had booked a Superior ME+ Junior Suite with front sea view and a terrace. However, upon arrival we were assigned a small room that did not match what we had booked at all.
After we complained, we were offered a Junior Suite with only a side sea view and no terrace, with the explanation that the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available. To our surprise, when we checked the hotel’s website at that time, all room types were still shown as available for the entire duration of our stay.
Despite not receiving the room we had booked, we were still charged the full price of a Superior ME+ Junior Suite. We find this completely unacceptable and outrageous for a hotel in this price range.

A stunning location, lovely rooms and wonderful staff made this a perfect short break. The coastline is lovely with nice walks, great restaurants in the local town and the best paella on the beach just 5 minutes away. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Special mention goes to the front of house team who expertly sorted a couple of room issues, especially manager Janire Perez who couldn’t have been more helpful and kind.

There are strengths and weaknesses for this hotel:

Stylish hotel with cool decor
Very comfortable beds
Great pool and roof terrace
Very friendly staff
Good breakfast buffet

Negatives-
Had to request things a few times (missing bottle opener in room), coffee order at breakfast, safe that didn’t work.
Ate one evening in restaurant and food was below average, it was removed from bill though.
The layout of bathroom is not nice- shower in room and sink near clothing rail, separate loo with no sink to wash hands. It didn’t offer much privacy at all. It’s a shame as rooms were lovely.

Overall, I’d return to the hotel and the highlight for me was the gorgeous roof terrace with hot tubs, it was a great subtract with beautiful views.

Beautiful hotel, great pools and food, but what made this holiday was the excellent service from all the staff, we have already booked for 2026

A beautiful clean contemporary hotel in THE perfect spot. Lots to like and so many reasons to return but small details would mean we would consider other hotels.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the ME Ibiza. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed our time in Ibiza. The ME was very clean, the outdoor pool area was amazing with views over the sea. We had a suite overlooking the sea which was very peaceful and it was lovely to sit on the balcony of an evening. We enjoyed Origins one evening and there was a jazz band playing which was exceptional. The food is incredible in this restaurant. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool in the day and a DJ plays most days. Breakfast is outstanding and everything you could possibly imagine is there to eat. We will definitely be returning next year to the ME. Check out the art work displayed around the hotel, some very unusual pieces. The artist is in residence at the hotel and you can sometimes see him paint. A big thank you to Pablo and his team for looking after us so well. A special thank you to Thiago, it's always a pleasure to see him.

Nice Pools. Personall very friendly. Good breakfast. Very clean rooms. WiFi was all richt.

We went for a honeymoon and had an excellent time. Perfect location. The people, the concierge, the staff, everyone was friendly and great. The vibe of the hotel was great. Not too busy or noisy with good music playing in the background. The room was clean and beautiful and the view of the ocean was wonderful. The morning spread for breakfast was fantastic. So many options to choose from and it tasted great. We purchased the ME benefits package and they really delivered on the benefits. We got a nice local experience at a ibizkus winery, great recommendations of where to go and how to navigate travel. A wonderful start to our vacation.

The rooftop adults only pool was spectacular. Breathtaking. Staff up there were lovely. Rafael and Mariana were a true delight. I just had hummus and fries for lunch - both excellent. Skip any of the other clubs. And go to the rooftop at ME. The best.
