A pleasant stay.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom.

Cons:

Room doors slam when they close so you hear it at night every time someone goes in or out. You need more room to put your plate at breakfast while putting your food on your plate. It’s the same at the previous holiday inn in Orlando.

perfect stay

My wife and I travel all over the southeast US for my photography. We always look forward to staying at Holiday Inn Express St Augustine – Historic. The staff here is amazing. They always go out of their way to make us feel valued. They treat us like family. It is the cleanest hotel we stay in by far. Our room is always perfect. The dining area is also very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a big part of our stay, and we are genuinely well satisfied with the great breakfast buffet. After that we are set for a day’s adventure in St Augustine. My wife and I would both like to sincerely thank the staff, Tashay, Pete, Nikki and the very nice lady that set up the great Breakfast buffet. You all exceeded our expectations at every level.

Very pleasant place to stay.
Pros:

Every place you go , the handicapped bathrooms are not always completed in the most safe or helpful manner.
This room was perfect. Safety bars were right where they needed to be. The water stayed inside the shower area also. Meet Mr Pete, Manager and he was accommodating and very welcoming. The room was immaculate. The setup was efficient.
We did not do breakfast as we had a favorite place we were going to.
We’ll be back.

Cons:

Breakfast ends at 09:30-a bit early. Fortunately we were going to a place we like in town.

We really enjoyed it with just one change.
Pros:

It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. It was easy to get to and easy to check in.

Cons:

The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish there were blackout curtains on the window. It was difficult to sleep a full night because of the light through the window.
