Travelodge by Wyndham Quesnel

Pros:
The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The in-room Keurig machine was a nice touch that added to the overall convenience.
Cons:
The room’s decor felt quite gloomy, with dark caramel-coloured walls and heavy brown curtains that made the space feel closed in. Although we had prepaid in advance through Expedia, the owner would not allow us to view the room before check-in, which was very strange and disappointing.
Several advertised amenities were also missing. Laundry facilities listed on their website were not available. The signage out front mentioned a pool and hot tub, they have been closed for some time after reading the previous reviews. The surrounding neighbourhood felt somewhat sketchy, which was a bit unsettling.

Where do I start. The bathroom was nasty. The sink stopper broke. The towels were thin and thread bare. They only gave us one little bar of soap for both bath and hand basin, one bottle of shampoo two bottles of conditioner nobody ever uses conditioner the overall cleanliness was very poor. The sign outside advertises heated pool and sauna when you go into check-in. A sign says heated pool and sauna are out of service until further notice the room is not made up if you’re staying two nights they don’t make up the bed until you leave. You have to go and get new towels and cups and coffee and etc. if you want them There is no ice machine. There’s no microwave in the room. The property itself is on an extremely busy road it’s it caters to workers likely on contract and staying at the cheapest place they can find. The fellow next to us told us that somebody had broken into his car and stolen all his clothes the night before so it’s a rough part of town. I would suggest staying elsewhere

Ground floor stay was great- door right outside to our motorcycle . It was clean - excellent shower — decor dated to 70s -Mini size tv - air conditioner and fan in bathroom functional but sounded like a Mack truck … close to some great restaurants and walk on bridge by Fraser River . Price was comparable.

The person at the front desk was very pleasant. Room was clean. Good location to walking within the town

The travelodge quesnel was a great place to stay, the room was absolutely spotless even down to the filter in the keurig! Keep in mind it is an old motel, so the bed was pretty firm but like i said, spotless! Would definately stay here again.

Comfortable and affordable

Very clean but old motel in the centre of town. Great for one night stay.

Near Downtown

It may be a slightly older building, but it is very well maintained. The room and bathroom decor is dated, which is fine, but very pleasantly clean. And the staff were helpful and nice. The only drawback is it's right on the highway, so is a little noisy. But overall, if you're looking for a good clean place to rest your head at a budget price, and don't mind a little traffic noise and dated decor, this is your place to stay. I highly recommend it. I give it 4.5 stars.

The price was good for our needs - we were staying for a curling weekend!

Pleasant stay. Very basic. Clean. All a person needs is there.

Due to unforeseen circumstances (road closure in the USA), we were unable to make our reservation- after not being able to get through to the hotel directly, we contacted Expedia and they started a claim on our behalf - it was quite disappointing that the hotel wouldn’t give us a refund or even a partial refund for the no show

I don't like that they use fabreeze in the rooms to cover smells. There are other products available that do not have a perfumed smell.

The pool has been closed for years, it would be nice to see it open again.

Convenient location within easy walk to downtown.
Right beside Hwy 97 which made easy access northbound.

Great hotel but no microwave.
