Location to attractions was great. Had parking which was a must.

Cons:

One of our rooms had the scent of stale smoke. I didn’t realize when I booked that it was a smoking establishment so I should have paid better attention.

Quick over night in Gettysburg. Wanted an inexpensive place to stay for a quick tour of town. This place was perfect!

Perfect location to everything.

Cons:

The room was pleasant enough though it would’ve been nice to have a microwave. But, the only elevator to the breakfast area was broken and it would’ve been nice to know that beforehand. My mother can’t do stairs therefore we didn’t partake in the offered breakfast. More importantly if you’re on the first floor, you will hear every footstep, every flush, and almost every word from the people on the second floor. We booked this hotel because we read it was haunted and wanted an experience and if that’s what you’re looking for, honestly it might just be the people above you.

Great location, great staff, bring earplugs
Pros:

Can't beat the location and the staff are always stellar! Breakfast is decent. I love that they offer pet friendly options and the lady at the front desk has always been helpful recommending places to take dogs in town like local dog parks. Beds were comfortable, rooms are a little tight but its the kind of town you don't spend much time in the room anyways. I would stay again overall especially for the walkability and staff.

Cons:

Took half the night to heat the room up (it was freezing). We found out a little later it may be because you could actually see daylight underneath the heater/ac unit. This is the second time the shower was struggling. The main thing was it was NOISY! You can hear EVERYTHING! there were kids banging on doors screaming, a domestic dispute below in the middle of the night with doors slamming and yelling, and a few doors down one morning you could hear a woman having a VERY fun time.

Relaxing stay right in the center of it all
Pros:

Nice location a 10 Minute walk to center of town, tour bus stop right across the street.
Battlefield monuments at top of the hill right near the hotel. Great restaurant in a 1776 house right across the street

Cons:

Nothing. Room was huge everything was clean. Staff was friendly and a wealth of knowledge about things nearby and very helpful

Great place to stay in Gettysburg, but maybe bring earplugs!
Pros:

The property is right downtown. GREAT location! Updated bathroom with great shower and toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion) and comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. The only thing, and it really wasn’t a big deal, but worthy of mentioning, is that you do hear the people above you, and soundproofing isn’t great. We were more than ok with it, and it seems like most of the ‘in town’ hotels would be the same.

Wonderful room
Pros:

The staff was incredibly friendly. The inn was walking distance from downtown and the free breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

The door to the upper floor didnt close all the way, so we heard it slamming periodically through the night.
