-pri zajtrku ni bilo nikogar, ki bi dopolnjeval hrano: zmanjkalo je kave, ni bilo sadja, od jajc je ostala ena žlica. Nedopustno za hotel s štirimi zvezdicami-

I recently stayed at Hotel Metropol Basel to attend the Art Basel and was somewhat disappointed by the overall value for money. While the location is convenient and the staff were courteous, the hotel did not meet my expectations for a 4-star property.

The rooms felt dated in terms of design and furnishings, and the carpets contributed to an older overall impression. One of the main drawbacks was the air conditioning system, which is centrally controlled. As a result, the room temperature was too warm and could not be adjusted to a comfortable level.

Considering the room rates, I expected more modern facilities, better climate control, and a fresher, more contemporary atmosphere. Overall, the hotel is acceptable for a short stay, but I do not feel that the quality and comfort justify the price charged.

Sehr schöner Kurzaufenthalt.
Pros:

Die Lage ist top. Der Hauptbahnhof ist nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Die nächste S-Bahn-Station erreicht man in 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Zimmer war schön und vor allem sehr sauber. Absolut zu empfehlen! Sehr freundlicher Service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
