Over priced and average staff who won’t go out of their way
Pros:

It was handy for the station

Cons:

The tv didn’t work properly. It kept switching itself off and then would eventually come back on. Very frustration whilst trying to watch the olympics.also very little t bags in room -we had to request some and the most annoying was at breakfast they told us they couldn’t do earl grey tea even though they had delivered early grey t bags to our room. Won’t be coming back.

The room was a little dated, the bed head material was flaking and the floorboards dipped and made a noise when walking over them.

Cons:

Carpet floors in the hallways have a really bad smell. No slippers in the room (is this hilton standard??), so i asked first night: slippers not available. Then asked morning after: they were available. Night receptionist at check in asking if we wanted to add breakfast: we had other plans so we said no. He asked 3 times if we were interested, i said no - asking 3 times means being pushy and makes me feel uncomfortable.
Day of check out we tried asking to extend check out by an hour: receptionist interrupted me while i was explaining we only needed 1 extra hour - she said not possible. I did not even get to say for how long i needed the room.. i would have paid for it.
