Pros:

Food in pub was lovely and lovely breakfast great location

Cons:

Due to a fire in the spa which closed it do we couldn’t get into the spa till after 3pm which ruined plans but we always have a lovely time when we stay

Pros:

Location was perfect for our quick one night stay to visit family in the area. Room was spacious and bathroom was large and modern

Cons:

Due to having international phones we were unable to request an early check-in. Arrived at 1:00 p.m. for a 3:00 p.m. check-in, room was not available and staff did not offer to store our bags or offer the use of the facilities while we waited. We had to leave our bags in our hot car all afternoon while we visited family.
When we checked in we confirmed the time the pool was open until but was not informed that they stopped admitting one hour before closing and we were refused entry to the pool 55 minutes before closing.
This was extremely disappointing after a long day of travel, visiting family. We were really looking forward to having a swim, a little relaxation before settling in for the night.

Lovely,relaxing friendly atmosphere that really made our wedding weekend go with a swing!

Staff really polite, helpful & accommodating & the venue really worked for a large family get together - all the different ages could do what & when they pleased with all the on site amenities
