Wholesome and quiet luxury weekend
Pros:

We celebrated our first anniversary at the Fairmont WP and spent the day exploring and walking around Virgina water before checking into the hotel. Check in was seamless and quick. There was a super cute happy anniversary cake waiting for us in our room; thank you.
The room itself was perfect - spacious, clean and loved the interior deco. Luxurious and a great night sleep.
We had dinner at the brasserie - everyone was attentive and helped us to choose our main.
Spa - a perfect way to wind down after the day.
Gym - large , lots of equipment, clean and easy to use.
Padel /tennis - recommend as it’s such a fun way to spend your Sunday .
Breakfast - everything we wanted .

Cons:

The fact we only spent 1 night; next year we are staying a minimum 2/3 nights to fully enjoy ourselves . The only thing could be improved on was shower head in bedroom but there were 2 so wasn’t an issue whatsoever

All the staff were great, very helpful and genuinely nice. The door man Tony was the best! We wish we could have stayed

Good facilities
Pros:

Food, facilities, design and cleanliness were all at a luxury standard. Valet was very helpful and was probably best staff encounter out of everyone.

Cons:

I called ahead to arrange an early check-in as we were travelling with a baby, and was assured a room unoccupied the previous night would be ready on arrival. It wasn't, we waited 20 minutes and the cot we'd requested wasn't in the room either and had to wait over an hour to get it.

Pre wedding
Pros:

We recently held a very special family event at Fairmont Windsor Park, and I cannot thank Tina and the team enough for helping make the day so memorable.

From the very beginning, Tina was absolutely fantastic. Her time, patience, dedication and attention to detail were exceptional. She supported me throughout the planning process, always taking the time to answer my questions and make sure everything was taken care of. Her coordination played such a huge part in making our event the success that it was.

Tina is truly wonderful at what she does and a real asset to the Fairmont. Her professionalism is matched by her kindness and genuine care for her guests, and I sincerely hope the hotel recognises how valuable she is to the team.

I would also like to give a special mention to Royston, who looked after us on the day. He was brilliant. He really took charge, was incredibly attentive and proactive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. My family and I greatly appreciated the care and effort he put into looking after us.

We came away with such lovely memories from the day, and a huge part of that was down to Tina, Royston and the wider Fairmont team.

Thank you again for making such an important occasion so special for us. We are incredibly grateful and would not hesitate to recommend Fairmont Windsor Park.

Amazing 50th birthday dinner here!

UPDATE AUGUST 2026

I wanted to extend my heart warming gratitude to the whole team here at Fairmont Windsor Park for helping to deliver an exceptional 50th birthday dinner celebration.

Starting with Tina Israel who worked tirelessly with us for 9 months. Tina would put us first always even sometimes going home later than her usual hours to make sure we were happy. Tina is incredible and a great asset to the Fairmont brand!

Huge thanks to Desmond who went out of his way to accommodate our dishes and tweaking a few specials. And to Sam, Reece, Manvill, Orton, and Paras - everyone was just 1st class. We definitely experienced the fine dining. And John in In room dining who is always polite and helpful. Fairmont are so lucky to have the above employees as mentioned.

Everything went to plan 100% and every single member of team went out of their way to make the Mander party the best. We will always continue coming here for dinner and client meetings and for future celebrations.

Thank you Fairmont and to Gagan for leading a world class team here.

Just perfect
Pros:

The moment we arrived we met the lovely doorman Tony who parked our car for us. At check in sharmila took us to our treehouse and explained our golf buggy. We were made to feel special and nothing was too much trouble. The treehouse was beautiful and very well equipped even hair straightens were provided. Housekeeping worked very hard and visited twice a day. The Brassiere for breakfast was excellent. The children enjoyed all the activities provided and were never bored which made life easier for us. The surrounding area is beautiful and the hotel grounds are lovely. At checkout and check in concierge’s helped with the luggage to and from the car. A wonderful experiences and a great family holiday we did not want to leave.

Ok but not luxury enough for the price
Pros:

Food quality was very good. Windsor Brasserie and terrace bar both a nice atmosphere

Cons:

Some shoddy fittings in bedroom (loose tap); poor reception area and welcome; on two instances there was no-one present on front door when arrived so we brought cases in ourselves. Overall service felt very amateurish
