In London sollte man nicht sparen und lieber für Hotels mehr Geld ausgeben. Das Hotel ist eine Katastrophe, da man trotz des stolzen Preises, ein Zimmer ohne wirkliches Tageslicht bekommt. Das Zimmer ist viel zu klein, London typisch aber gut das die Fotos etwas anderes vorgaukeln.
Das Frühstück kann man sich auch sparen. Das Personal ist unfreundlich und überfordert und man muss anstehen für ein mäßiges Frühstück. Das Geld kann man sich echt sparen.

Wi-fi didn't work in the room or at breakfast as both were in the basement. Surface level cleanliness was good but when I moved a side table to plug in my charger it was thick with dust. Milk with the coffee making facilities was off so I couldn't make tea as the milk just curdled. Light fittings were modernised, but there was an emergency light by the door which couldn't be turned off for sleep. Double bed was just two single beds joined together. I booked a Deluxe Double, but there was nothing deluxe about my stay.

Very Very noisy from outside traffic & peaple through the night from around 11pm till 4am

The room was on the top floor of the building across the road! It felt very detached from the main hotel.

No problems at all.

Staff promised things and didn’t deliver. First room was very noisy in the Devonshire annex. Had to ask the maintenance man who was sent to our room to fix the basin plug, to adjust the door closer of the building to lessen the heavy thump of the door shutting. Breakfast average and the breakfast room is too small for the volume of guests. We were locked out of our room due to an electronic failure, assigned a new room and it had a chorus of pigeons in the vents and outside the window. The shower drain was blocked and the room was smaller. We booked a Club Room and there was no apparent Club Room advantages.

The breakfast room is in the basement and very small. On the first morning there was a long queue, and we waited about 20 minutes to get a table. On the next days we went a bit later and only waited around 5 minutes, which was much better.
The water system in the room was also a problem. When taking a shower, the warm water kept disappearing. Sometimes the water stopped completely and then suddenly came back about 10 seconds later — often with a splash of cold water. This was quite unpleasant. The sink also drained very slowly.
The most disturbing issue was the loud banging noise at night. It sounded like someone was slamming a door in the hallway, but no one was there. We realized it was probably some kind of water pump. It was extremely loud and kept happening just when we were about to fall asleep. We were too tired to go complain, but it definitely affected an otherwise very good stay.

La photo de la chambre sur booking n’est pas du tout la chambre que nous avons eu.
Les fenêtres ne sont pas isolé du coup le froid est rentré toute la nuit et la Clim se trouve juste à côté du lit donc nous avons eu froid toute la nuit.
Le lit n’est pas du tout confortable, c’est à ressors et on s’enfonce dans le matelas.
Sur un séjour de 4 jours, le ménage est effectué seulement le 3 eme jours, un seul rouleau de PQ.. Pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, c’est horrible !
Il y a des taches au sol et on entends tout ce qui se passe dans les couloirs et chambre.

The room was smaller than I expected.
The mattress was uneven, so that I was sloping to one side at night which disturbed my sleep.
The TV remote control inexplicably disappeared on my second day, assumably during cleaning. I reported it to reception but nothing was done about it.
