Not a great stay- avoid if u can
Pros:

My daughter and I stayed in a court wing deluxe double room for two nights. On arrival I queried the room as it was tiny and very compact. They said this is what I booked but it definitely was different than the pictures shown on their website . The room had an additional fan which I thought was due to heatwave London was experiencing but I think it may have been to mask the fact that the air conditioning wasn’t working. I filled the fridge with drinks but it wasn’t working which we later discovered while melting in the room! I contacted reception at the first night and explained the excess heat, no air conditioning and fridge wasn’t working. She said she would contact maintenance and of course they never arrived. Luckily we were out all day the next day and arrived home late. After other night of poor sleep we checked out and reception didn’t even apologise! Beware this hotel is not all that it seems!! Poor room allocations and poor customer service!

Cons:

The lack of customer service; the hotel wasn't able to accommodate a request made 3 months in advance. Don't have a contingency plan for when A/C's stop working in the building during a heat wave.

Not what I expected
Pros:

The location was handy to everything but that’s where it stopped for me.
Accommodations had been booked by my travel agent and I found the room I was allocated was substandard for the price paid. The room, on the ground floor, was sandwiched between the public toilet and lift so it was noisy at night. But the worst was the room itself. Dimly lit, the power socket was coming off the wall, tiny room where there was no space to open the luggage properly and coming off the shower recess I needed to squeeze and long step past the toilet which made it a risk as an elderly woman! Not a good introduction to my tour of London.

Price doesn’t reflect the reality of an outdated, hot clammy stay

The location was good

Cons:

We had to have our room changed 3 times in total. All for a 2 night stay. The air conditioning was not working in the first two rooms, we had a terrible night stay on Monday due to the heat and lack of air conditioning. The staff on the desk told us on multiple occasions “maintenance were coming” when in fact it was a lie.

Soggiorno piacevole. Posizione dell'hotel insuperabile.
Pros:

Posizione perfetta, sia per la vicinanza alla stazione di Paddington ( 4 minuti a piedi), sia per il quartiere tranquillo. L'ingresso più vicino di Hyde Park è a circa 8 minuti di cammino. Volendo passeggiare uno' di più, la zona di Kensington i raggiunge in 20 minuti, Oxford Street (puro shopping) in 30. Ho apprezzato molto l'acqua sempre fresca a disposizione in reception per il refill delle borracce.

Cons:

Fila di 15 minuti sulle scale strette per accedere alla sala colazione (la sala, che è interrata, è troppo piccola per contenere tutti gli ospiti).

Very expensive for poor quality
Pros:

Deluxe twin room very small,had mould on the bathroom ceiling and room ceiling. Furniture scratched and dated,had to keep blackout curtains closed as overlooked,window fittings broken. Room very hard to find as signage unhelpful.
