It needs a full refurb at this point. WiFi was poor and barely worked. Towels were very rough and thin

Sometimes at breakfast the areas were quite dirty or messy with food which the staff should clean periodically. We were given a milk jug that had food on the side of it which looked like it had been re used or.not clean.

Staff were unhelpful, we had an incident where security was meant to assist and never turned up. The front desk advised someone of my room number and gave them a key, without my permission! They were extremely unhelpful and need training regarding safe guarding I am extremely unhappy and will be making an official complaint

The staff, the room, facilities poor. Just rubbish.

The hotel upgraded me instantly upon booking and then didn't give me that room!!!
Check in from 3pm. Left bag at 1pm and came back at 3:45pm and told no room and to wait. Waited 20 minutes for room and wasn't even the right room!
Booked this place due to AirCon. Non-existant!! Rubbish.
Bed was awful. Could feel every spring and dip!
Massive queues for breakfast, couldnt get in!
Lift does what it wants and goes wherever.
Staff were pleasant but like rabbits in headlights when busy.

We didn't get the room that we paid for, we got dumped across the street in a different building which didn't look like the room we reserved. We got a room which was on the 6th floor in the attic without working air con which was 32 degrees outside. We had one small double bed and a fold out camp bed for the single bed - our reservation stated a large double bed and a single bed - not a sofa bed or camp bed.

I complained to the reception staff who took a while to deal with our issue and not one apology. We were promised a room in the main building and were shown two rooms by the hotel concierge before we got to choose which one we were happy to move into. We indicated our preference to the reception but by the time we packed up our old room, we were told the new room couldn't be released to us. We were then offered the alternative of having three single bedrooms which caused our group to be split up in different rooms across the basement floor.

Overall, the hotel is not a 4 star standard. The staff were quite rude and messed us about with our rooms. The only positive is the location which was close to Hyde Park.

I'm incredibly frustrated at our experience with our hotel even though we had booked our room back in October 2025.

None of the USB points worked for charging you will need an adapter

Ik had een kleine 2persoonskamer gereserveerd en al betaald. De receptionist, die heel slecht te verstaan was, omdat hij binnensmonds en met een accent engels sprak zei dat ik op de 4e etage zo'n kamer kon krijgen maar dat er geen lift was en ik dus veel trappen op moest met mijn bagage. Hij raadde me aan om een singlekamer te nemen, in de annex aan de overkant op de begane grond. Deze kamer was heel klein, de airco werkte onvoldoende, terwijl het die dagen heel erg warm was in Londen en de ijskast werkte niet. Toen ik bij het uitchecken van een andere receptionist geld terug wilde krijgen omdat de singlekamer volgens mijn herinnering ongeveer 20 pond goedkoper per nacht was dan de kleine 2persoonskamer, kreeg ik dat niet. Ik moest maar een email schrijven...

Staff we rude, check in was at 3 we arrived at 2;45 no issue as appreciate check in time was 3 around 25 other guests told the same have to cramp into a small restaurant area and then magically at 3 all rooms were ready, this was inconvenient

Front desk staff were unprofessional, and I felt I was racially profiled during my stay. It made me feel unwelcome and negatively affected my overall experience.

The general areas of the hotel are a big tired looking but we had no issues with our room the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast was not totally ti our taste I don’t like my scrambled egg runny and we had to chase up our tea a s coffee.
