I’ve paid a huge amount and got a very small bedroom, very small to the point my luggage took all the space. I also paid extra to get a window! And was still placed in basement with no view. Just a physical window
Staff was very accommodating and nice despite the system couldn’t find our reservation.
We arrived late at night 10:30 pm. and we had to wait more than half an hour because the system couldn’t retrieve our reservation.
Location brilliant. Breakfast was ok. Early check in given by reception was a godsend as I had a meeting after a night flight. They did everything they could to help with this request. Air con in room was fabulous.
Room was very tired looking with stained walls. Bar wasn’t available as advertised which was one reason I chose the hotel as a single female traveller who didn’t want to go out in the evening alone.
It was clean and modern
We booked several months in advance and to be told we were staying at a sister on arrival was hugely disappointing as my daughter suffers from anxiety and this is the last thing I need

The location was convenient for getting to and from Paddington and central London.
The room was absolutely tiny. So was the bed. The bed also had a big dent in the mattress on one side which gave me a bad back. There was mould on the window sill and stains on the curtains. Considering the cost of the stay this was not value for money.
Short walk to Paddington.
Very small room and bathroom. Didn’t meet our 4* hotel expectation. Rooms were more dated and much smaller than look in pics. We paid a price which didn’t meet our expectation of a 4* hotel.

Firstly, the room we booked had no resemblance to the room we were given on arrival. After asking, they said that it was the same room as the photo, if it was then it is false advertising. The room was dirty with stains and marks all over the walls, woodwork was damaged and the bed was a 3/4 double. Struggled to fit 2 adults in it. The room itself was tiny, with the bathroom door unable to be opened all the way because it was hitting the bed. All the staff struggled with slight language barrier, which made it even harder to explain our issue. Along with trying to discuss that it wasn’t a true representation of what we had booked online. This is a 2* hotel, if that. Definitely not 4* at all.
