Great hotel for SkateDC weekend
Pros:

I've been coming here over the past couple of years for SkateDC weekend. Hotel is in a great location. Pool is a good size, clean, and well-appointed. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Price was great! much cheaper than most nearby hotels but still comfortable in a great area. Within walking distance to 14th street corridor with lots of bars and restaurants. Very close to the national mall, just a few minutes bike/skate downhill to Freedom Plaza.

Regular checkout time is at noon, and they have free luggage storage too.

Cons:

The only downside that they need to work on are the mosquitos! There are mosquitos in the lobby, lounge, and restaurant areas. They're not, like, swarming, but you may get bit if you sit around the first floor areas for a while. Thankfully I didn't find any in the rooms. This will be a perfect hotel if they were able to get a handle on them.

There is onsite parking but just like many hotels, they can be a bit pricey for long stays. There are a lot of underground parking options in DC just a few blocks away for much cheaper.
