Check in staff was pleasant and helpful. Always said hello when we arrived during the day. We had lunch 1st day. It was good and waitress was good. Bus boy was attentive also.
Breakfast was bad. Not hot. Potatoes were cold. Waiter never took drink order. Long wait to take food order. Bus boy brought drinks. Waiter never checked on us if we were satisfied. Brought out check just after bringing out food. Tv kept going bout bad WiFi. Room was tight. Bad view. Under construction.
There were most likely bed bugs in the room. They already bit up our legs, and we could even hear them.
It was a great stay in a great hotel with extraordinarily friendly, helpful and polite staff.
When I arrived, a member of the hotel staff helped immediately with the heavy suitcases.
A lady working at the reception named Asia was extremely friendly and gave me a great room. She also helped during the stay giving useful advice, for example where to buy a second suitcase or which transport medium I could use. I didn’t feel like just another number of guests, but like I was being treated as an individual! All staff members at the reception were very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was huge, one could open the window and I had a great view seeing the nearby church. There was a coffee machine, great coffee, tea, and water inside the room. All was very clean without having used harmful chemicals to desinfect like in the hotel I had stayed before.
The bathroom was very clean with a bath tub, which I enjoyed. There were shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion available.
The pool was great, opened at my second day, from 9 to 9. There was also wonderful staff responsible for the pool area and for rescueing just in case. The pool water was pleasant, the pool not overcrowded. Great to have it, because it was so hot in Washington D.C.
The hotel is located in a walking distance of about 10-12 minutes to the next metro station .
Another good aspect was that I could walk to the Walt. E Wash Convention Centre in about 11 minutes.
So no metro or cab necessary to go to the converntion centre.
I tried the restaurant of the hotel once for lunch. The prices were payable, the staff very friendly, the meal very well cooked. I had the sandwich with crevettes and French Fries, which was delicious and cost less than 20 dollars. One could sit outside looking at the pool area and the atmosphere was great. Did not have breakfast in the hotel. Overall, I can highly recommend that hotel, even for single persons. It felt safe and good to be there and I would choose that hotel again.
The room prizes during congress times were high.
Location
A little tired
Very nice, welcome staff
Nao aplica
Excesso carpete quartos
Very clean, comfortable and nice swimming pool
Linens were clean
Old facility, carpeting was dusty, house keeping didn’t actually clean up - just added up soap etc.
Location and staff
Needs updating for UBS, but they told me it’s being done soon
The staff were friendly. Lobby area and bathrooms were clean.
This is the most nosiest hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The walls are paper thin. You are going to hearing everything that happens in the hallway, the rooms and also from the street. After a long day exploring the city I could not get a good night's rest!!!!!! Stay away from this place if you value your peace and quiet. The room doors sound like prison doors when closing. They are very loud! I was counting down the time to leave!!!!!!!!!!!
No proper water heater for tea
The front desk is very friendly and assisted with helping to get me check in
The Building was clean also the room was spotless
I didn't like the $43 to park over night, that was insane!! That is the only thing that will mot make me return
