Nice staff
Not a thing
Yes, very much!
Réception pas accueillante
The bed was comfy. The room was spacious. The pool was nice. The location is great.
The tvs were a little older so we couldn’t watch other stuff on it. The bathroom was okay.
Great pool and staff were excellent.
Room was fine and as expected
Bien ubicado y hotel precioso, cómodo y con la cafetera en la habitacion
El precio es exagerado, ya se que es Washington pero es demasiado elevado
The friendly staff
Very nice hotel, Sightseeing friendly.
Air-conditioning didn't work well, it was tolerable. Guest parking parking prices are 50.00 a night, it would be nice if they only charged one price for your entire stay.. I stayed 2 nights and never left the lot and got charged 100.00.....
We had to extend our stay, as my husband was recovering from surgery at nearby Medstar Washington Hospital Center. The reception staff, in particular the staffer or manager named Treasure, really helped us out and gave us needed flexibility as we weren’t sure how long we needed to stay. Also, we loved dining outside near the pool and ate there every evening after hospital visits. The waitresses & waiters were all very personable and helpful. Food was very good too.
The parking under the hotel is a bit trying. I think they are trying to squeeze in too many spaces.
The lobby, room and pool were very clean and the staff was very friendly.
The room was very small. The food at the restaurant was fare. I had both dinner and breakfast and the food was over cooked and very bland.
We stayed in room 634 for three nights in June. The room overlooked the front of the hotel and the pool
We were welcomed and checked in by Jamal at the front desk. He was polite, friendly, and efficient. We arrived at 1:15 p.m., and our room was ready. He gave us the keys even though check-in was officially at 3 p.m.
The room had a queen size bed and was comfortable and clean. The carpet looked new(er). The bed was comfortable. Given the heat and humidity, I’m happy to say that the air conditioner worked very well. There was some street noise, but it was relatively minor and did not bother us. One nice feature, for us, is that when you opened the room door it stayed open and did not slam back on you. Another one is that bottled water was available without any additional cost.
The only two quirks we noticed was: 1) the location of the toilet paper in the bathroom requires you to be a contortionist to reach it; and 2) the retrofit of the shower was odd and made the thing you pull up to start the shower very difficult. Also, it was surprising in this day and age that they still use the wasteful small individual bottles of shampoo and conditioner.
We found the hotel to be an easy walk from the McPherson Metro station. We took the Metro from National Airport.
We used the pool two of our three nights, and the lifeguard was very nice and pleasant. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. The staff were outgoing and attentive and the food (Cubano sandwich, lentil soup, and calamari) was delicious.
We would definitely stay here again if the price is right.
