Emplacement top, fonctionnel sans plus
Pros:

L'hôtel m'avait aimablement surclassé, ce qui fait toujours plaisir, même si la chambre au premier étage n'offrait pas de vue. Tout était propre et fonctionnel, le lit confortable, les chambres pas trop bruyantes. L'endroit est au coeur du West End, donc idéal pour des touristes, et aisément accessible depuis la City, pour les businessmen.

Cons:

Je suis passé devant l'hôtel sans le voir ; la réception m'a confirmé que je n'étais pas le premier à faire la remarque. Comme presque partout, alors que la chambre était déjà réglée, l'hôtel vous mobilise un dépôt de garantie injustifié (cent livres de mini-bar ?) qui tarde beaucoup à revenir, ce qui n'est pas très agréable. L'impression générale est assez vieillotte, et le prix élevé, comme presque partout à Londres. Je n'ai pas essayé le petit-déjeuner et ne suis resté qu'une nuit, donc pas plus de commentaires que ça.

I will definitely be returning.
Pros:

Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and well thought out. The was enough storage space, and there was good lighting.
I did not have breakfast, but I had a late room service meal which was good and served quickly.
Bed was comfortable and the bath was big and deep.
The location is perfect - for theatres, for the National Galleries, for restaurants. And there seem to always be available black cabs in front of the door.

Cons:

The blinds could not be raised - I would have enjoyed seeing outside - or closed completely - to block out the light.
The curtains are not light blocking - light comes through on the sides and the top, whichi is a big problem for me - and for anyone who is sensitive to light. That is something that could - and should - be easily remedied.
The TV is too small (though it can be angled - and there the normal stellite channels like CNN, Euronews etc are not available, which is very frustrating.

Everything.
The door and reception staff were really friendly and the room was really clean, warm and beds were exceptionally comfortable. Room service was okay and mini bar not too overpriced.

Cons:

Breakfast staff on day one were a little rude as no-one greated us so we sat down at a table and then jumped on us we need your room number first. Breakfast was mediocre and half toaster wasn't working and had to wait a long time. Next morning was better, friendly gentleman who went out of his way to help me get Breakfast for my poorly child.

Wonderful modern luxury hotel in a perfect location for theatre. Nice staff. Comfortable room. Will stay again!
Pros:

I stayed here 20 years ago and was very happy to come back. The room was excellent. It was as though my needs were anticipated in advance. The location was excellent for visiting the theatres. The neighborhood is great for restaurants, proximity to the tube and other sites.

Cons:

There was a power outage and little info about what was happening but they comped us.

Pros:

The location, the rooms, the staff are all excellent.

Cons:

The breakfast could be better. The buffet offers basic options and comes with unlimited filter coffee but just "one barista drink". The egg dishes cost extra. Not a good look for such a hotel. Also the 100 GBP deposit per night per room is shocking.
