Hotel Britania Art Deco

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, proche de Avenida da Liberdade. Nous avons avant toute chose adoré l'accueil et l'attention au service rendu, agrémenté de petites attentions très agréables. Le personnel est charmant, souriant, présent pour vous assister. L'hôtel et la chambre étaient uniques en leur genre, presque figés dans le temps, avec leur style art déco, leurs murs chargés d'histoire et leurs meubles d'époque. Ça faisait changement et nous avons apprécié la singularité. La literie est très confortable avec des matelas fermes. Enfin, le petit déjeuner était divin, riche en saveurs et rempli d'options ; nous sommes végétariens et nous avons eu de quoi nous contenter. Nous recommandons vivement pour l'expérience.

From the moment of arrival we were made to feel welcome. The complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely surprise, as was the offer of portwine in both the lounge and the bedroom.
The location was perfect for our visit to the German Embassy and the ease of parking in the hotel's underground car park made things stress free.
We will be back

We love this hotel. It was our second time here and we will return again the next time we visit Lisbon. The hotel is beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is incredible. What really makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful but we must mention Larissa at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible. We highly recommend this hotel!

Perfekte Lage, ein herausragendes Frühstück und ein Team, das wirklich mitdenkt – aufmerksam, herzlich und immer präsent, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Für mich ganz klar die erste Adresse in Lissabon. Ich komme jedes Mal sehr gerne wieder.

From arrival to leaving the staff were exceptional and really made our stay wonderful. They were on hand to advise us and everyone was very personable, professional and lovely. They even sang happy birthday to my husband at breakfast and we had a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room.
The hotel is as described - a renovated art deco hotel and it's been beautifully done. There was everything we could have wanted (including a complimentary decanter of port in the room). They have complimentary tea and cakes from 5pm and there is another decanter of complimentary port at the bar. The hotel is in a quiet road behind one of the main streets housing all the top brand shops but is only a 10 minute stroll from the port area with lots of shops and restaurants as well as historical buildings and churches.
We did a 2 hour tuk tuk ride (organised by the hotel) and it was well worth it as we were shown the main attractions and it helped us to get our bearings.
We will definitely stay at Hotel Britania the next time we visit Lisbon.
