Pros:

I liked the central location with an easy access to public transportation

Cons:

Air conditioning was a significant issue during my stay. When I first raised the concern, the front desk informed me that the air conditioning could not be controlled in individual rooms because it was managed centrally. The temperature in my room remained around 24°C with a constant airflow (I was not able to control temperature or airflow), which made it difficult to sleep and rest, especially since the outdoor temperatures ranged between 30°C and 40°C.

However, two days later, after returning to my room and finding the AC switched off, a different front desk receptionist was able to adjust the air conditioning for my room to my liking. This suggests that individual room controls were, in fact, available, which was inconsistent with the information I had initially been given.

Un hôtel super face à la gare
Pros:

Hôtel de très bon rapport qualité / prix, très bien placé juste en face de la gare. Chambre et salle de bains propres, bien agencés et en excellent état. Ma chambre (côté cour) était tout à fait calme.

Cons:

Rien, c'était parfait.

Wonderful stay with an unexpectedly better room this time
Pros:

This was our second time staying at Suisse Hotel, and we booked the same room category as before. However, this room was definitely superior: it felt newer, bigger, and nicer, and the shower was much better too.

Honestly, we were very happy to get this room on our second stay, because if it had been the other way around, it would have been quite surprising. The previous room was not bad at all, but it was definitely not nearly as nice or as cozy as this one, and we were not informed that this was an upgrade or anything.

That said, the hotel is still great. The staff were wonderful, and the location is extremely convenient, literally right in front of the train station. I would definitely recommend it!

Quaint older hotel that has been updated with modern amenities
Pros:

There was a heat wave going on in Europe and this hotel has air conditioned rooms, which we greatly appreciated after coming from other places during our travels that did not have A/C. The location of the hotel was near plenty of ethnic restaurants and lots of shops and right across from the train station. It was a relatively short walk from the main bus station and to get to lake Geneva. While we were only there for one night, our rooms were lovely, with comfy beds and nice showers. In the double room, the bathroom was large with plenty of counter space. I can't rate the breakfast because we had to get to the airport at 5 a.m., but the fact that they offer one is nice.

Great location, not great due to heat
Pros:

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable bed. If the weather had not been incredibly hot, it would have been a fine room. I paid a lot more to stay at the Suisse, but it was a very basic hotel.

Cons:

A/C was a joke. I know there's a heatwave going on but the temperature never dropped below 75°f. The room was hot and stuffy, and it didn't help that there was no vent in the bathroom, so it was humid even after cool showers.

The hotel, located right across from the main train station is perfect for a one-night stand.
Pros:

The location couldn't have been better, the staff are quite helpful and the rooms are clean.

Cons:

Not much... ice conditioning was barely adequate--of course Europe is in the midst of a historic heat wave.
