Excellent location and staff, little things let it down

Friendly Staff, very clean and good loaction

Cons:

Expected to pay a large deposit to keep the Mini Bar in the room- not told beforehand.

Cons:

The staff, the service I received, and again THE STAFF. Fire alarm went off and 2 members of staff brushed me when I asked where to go. People fighting and breaking stuff outside my room waking me up in the middle of the night, when I’ve gone to complain about it, the best I got was “these things happen an the best we can say is sorry” dogshit, would never book this place again in my career of living

Staff and bedding need attention, location and room size are great.
Pros:

Good location if using the Uber boats and rooms above average size which is very nice.

Cons:

The mattress was far past its life span. two very deep person size indents from years of use.

The staff were not very attentive during breakfast, took ages to get drink service and on the 2nd breakfast didn't get asked for drinks at all.

First class hotel in a great location
Pros:

Wonderful location, beautiful large room, gorgeous bed and linen. Friendly helpful staff and great breakfast.

Cons:

Room was very warm and took time to cool. It would be nice to have a kettle and tea bags in the room as well as the excellent coffee machine.

I’ll happily go there again and plunge into more adventure sagas with uber
Pros:

The view and the proximity to Canada place and all walking areas of canary wharf. The hotel was in a quiet area too

Cons:

The pick up point for uber drivers is very confusing to the drivers. As a single women I sent messages again and again to be collected outside the entrance doors of the hotel as they were all always somewhere else🤪 it made me a bit late for my appointments and the first pick up outside JP Morgan to take me to my hotel just gave up and cancelled as he couldn’t find me at all.
