hotel good location professional staff & manager
Pros:

The location was excellent right in central square 20 second walk from san Marco .

Cons:

The shower did not work from the day we arrived until the day we left so no hot showers for us at all or our children , but the hotel done their best to rectify it and were professional at all times then gave us a partial refund for the inconvenience so I cant fault their professionalism

Disappointing Stay Despite Excellent Location

The location of San Marco Palace is undoubtedly its biggest advantage, being just a short walk from St. Mark’s Square. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing due to several service and hospitality issues.

Upon arrival, Except for one Moroccan well experienced night shift receptionist the reception staff appeared unfriendly and did not offer a welcoming greeting or basic accommodation assistance. We also had to wait almost 24 hours before receiving a functioning electric kettle. During our first day, there were no cups, tea bags, coffee, or other basic in-room refreshments available.

Housekeeping standards were below expectations. The room was not properly cleaned during our stay; staff merely replaced towels and replenished toilet paper without carrying out a full cleaning service.

Breakfast was another major disappointment. The selection was very limited, with few alternatives available. Essential items such as bread were often replenished slowly, and the juice and coffee machines frequently required attention, resulting in delays and queues. The hotel seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests, while staffing levels appeared insufficient to handle demand efficiently.

Overall, while the hotel's location is excellent, improvements in customer service, housekeeping, and breakfast operations are needed to provide the standard of experience expected by visitors to Venice.

ロケーションは抜群に良い。
スタッフの対応もよかった。（夜間のスタッフ以外）

Cons:

朝食の種類が以前に宿泊した時よりも少なくなっている気がする。
部屋の備品（湯沸かしポットなど）が乏しく、ポットは貸出を依頼してもできないことがあった。
部屋の窓からの眺望は隣の建物の壁だけだった（Veneziaらしいのかも）。

Great location
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing and had a great variety. Coffee was fantastic. The restaurant was overlooking the canal so the view couldn't be more beautiful. The staff was super helpful and friendly.
