2 friends and I attended the manor for afternoon tea
Service was terrible. My friend had a. Coffee. That. Was too strong and we had to go and find someone to complain to,as no one about. The scones fell to pieces when cut .And we were asked to pay extra if we wanted additional sandwiches.
Needless to say never again

We had to go down and up a lot of steps to get to our room. Would have been an issue for some with disabilities.

I was booking on bedroom with double bed for 2 person and I get bedroom with 2 singles beds put together and I wake up on the middle of the night between the beds on the floor….disgusting…. No safe …

Room location was quite some distance with stairs both down and then up again . Shower was very low pressure
Good sized room. Warm and comfortable. Liked the heated towel rail. I did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment. Great to have a car park and not be charged. The location is lovely.
A real problem is the absence of a lift. Lots of stairs and corridors to navigate with luggage. Although the room was spacious the decor is looking a little tired. Whilst tea and coffee was available in the room there was only decaffeinated coffee capsules and only two provided.
Very friendly staff, dinner was quite nice.
Beautiful building but very tired. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable but need a good lick of paint and the bathrooms need updating. Breakfast was a bit disappointing no fresh food only stuff kept hot or cold. Very friendly staff.
