An attractive place for a short break in London.
Pros:

Every member of staff we dealt with was very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, although on the small side. Breakfast food was OK, but the food on the a la carte menu for dinner was terrific - tasty, good sized portions, and reasonable prices. The surrounding grounds are a great feature.

Cons:

The building, which is obviously listed, is attractive but clearly expensive to maintain - which showed in a few places although cleanliness was good. Likewise for the upkeep in the grounds.

Has immense potential to be an excellent high class venue but let down. Could do with more investment in time and resour

The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Cons:

The breakfast was extremely disappointing I’m afraid. The rooms were tired - odd jobs that needed fixing easily just let it down a bit.

Relaxing, quite and peaceful
Pros:

I liked the fact it was hidden away and was very unique . The staff were so friendly and even put up a happy birthday banner in our room for my partners 30th , it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in !

Lovely overnight stay
Pros:

The warm welcome from the receptionist on arrival, swift check in, and ordering a taxi for us that arrived on time.

Cons:

Pillows in the bedroom were hard and didn't help with a comfortable sleep.
