Happy to come back!
Pros:

The room was very nice and spacious and the bathroom nice as well. We were upgraded for free to a quiet room facing the courtyard - much appreciated!

Cons:

The breakfast was too expensive and not at all worth the money. It would be nice if one could have just a cup of coffee and bread/croissant at a decent price. Also missed room service....

The hotel was ideal for my stay in Essen working at the Messe, would 100% stay there again.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from.

Cons:

A little more options for evening meals/Bar food would of been good even though the pizzas were very nice was menu was very limited.

Simple and good
Pros:

The hotel is simple and clean, perfect for spending a night. The location is good, walking distance to the city center a nice street with restaurants and close to the concert hall. Rooms are decent size, beds are ok, the bathroom looked better than on the pictures. Parking garage was spacious and convenient

Gerne wieder.
Pros:

Sehr gute Frühstücksauswahl.
Sehr, sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption.
Für das öffentliche Parkhaus im Kellergeschoss, kann an der Rezption ein Tagesticket erworben werden, so dass man mehrmals ein- und ausfahren kann.

Cons:

Die warmen Frühstücks - Speisen (Rührei, Bohnen, Würstchen, etc.) waren lauwarm.
Im Doppelbett war die eine Matratze deutlich durchgelegen und nicht nutzbar.
