If I need to stay in that area again, definitely Gooiland Hotel 👍🏻
Pros:

Location is perfect. Beds are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Clean and cozy. Cofee and tea in the room is delicious. We had a very good experience with my dear cousins.

geen werkende airco en op de trap vele mensen die daar waarschijnlijk als vluchtelingen zitten op de lagere verdiepingen.

Pros:

Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam..
We hadden een mooie, ruime kamer met alle faciliteiten.
Ontbijt was prima

Voor 1x prima, maar meer voor verwacht voor de prijs
Pros:

Bed sliep best prima en alles was aanwezig op de kamer, maar niet bijzonder. Vriendelijke jongen bij de receptie. Locatie is top als je een event hebt daar.

Cons:

Vreselijk trappenhuis, volk dat er komt en loopt beneden en in de buurt nagestaard en nagefloten.

Vooral de faciliteiten in hotel vielen tegen. Gym kun je amper een gym noemen, lift moest je super lang op wachten. Ontbijt echt summier, wel prima wat er was overigens.

Pros:

Het personeel is fantastisch en het ontbijt voor 9,50 is heel schattig, klein maar heel lekker en precies wat je nodig hebt. Ik denk niet dat je op veel plekken nog voor zon bedrag een smakelijk ontbijt kan krijgen.

Cons:

Ik was er niet op voorbereid dat het Gooiland ook een vluchtelingenopvang is, dat merk je wel vooral aan de vele mannen op de gangen. Als alleen reizende vrouw vond ik dat wel even lastig in het begin. Volgens mij is wel alles goed beveiligd en houden ze de hotelkamers voor gasten apart, al weet ik dat niet zeker en daar werd ook niet over geinformeerd (tip). Ik moet wel zeggen dat ik absoluut geen last heb gehad van de bewoners hier en uiteindelijk was het gewoon een fijn verblijf. Kamers waren wel echt wat verouderd en niet wat ik verwacht had aan de hand van de foto's maar prima voor een nacht.

Heel vriendelijk personeel bij de receptie

Cons:

Ik vind écht dat jullie moeten aangeven met boeken dat jullie in hetzelfde hotel en in dezelfde ruimtes ook plek geven aan asielzoekers. Dat is natuurlijk een heel mooi streven maar ik zelf voel mij daar totaal niet op mijn gemak en veilig bij. Ik weet niet wat deze mensen hebben meegemaakt en hoe ze dingen zien. Ik kan er nog steeds niet over uit dat ik €220 betaal voor een kamer en dat het blijkt dat ik met allemaal asielzoekers in hetzelfde hotel zit. Ik zoek een hotel om met mijn dochters te verblijven en als ik dit had geweten van te voren dat had ik hier nooit geboekt. Los daarvan deed de airco het ook niet en hebben we 2x moeten bellen en dan werd de airco aangezet maar in de nacht om 01.30 viel die weer uit en was het 23 graden op de kamer

Fantastic service
Pros:

My husband and I stayed for a week. We found the service to be excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful. We loved our breakfasts and our room on the third floor was very clean and was made up every day. The hotel is centrally located in Hilversum and is very close to shops and restaurants as well as the railway station. We will definitely stay there again next time we come to the Netherlands.
