Een bijzonder verblijf
Pros:

Auping comfortabel bed met stevige matras, retro details overal in hotel, bad, dubbele regendouche, koffie/thee en koelkast in de suite, groot tv-scherm, comfortabele stoelen, veel ruimte, oordopjes, slippers, prima ontbijt, zeer vriendelijk personeel, uitrijkaartje parkeergarage bij vertrek.

Cons:

Koude vloer. Het was gehorig (leidingen, stemmen op de gang, voetstappen andere gasten). Er zat schimmel op muur en plafond in badkamer. De douche had nauwelijks afscheiding (muur of glas), dus een waterballet. Lampen in de badkamer waren lastig te regelen. Heel warm dekbed.

Groot deel van hotel door asielzoekers bezet. Op zich geen probleem, maar wij kwamen op vrijdag einde middag in het trappenhuis middenin een opstootje terecht. En op zaterdagochtend was er politie in het hotel i.v.m. diefstal o.i.d. dat helaas ook uit die hoek kwam. Dit soort zaken verwacht ik niet in een hotel.

Nice room, but way too many fatbikes...
Pros:

It was ok, but the hotel should communicate it also hosts a asylum seeker shelter, or in Dutch an AZC. This hotel gets millions a year from the government (taxpayers money) for doing so and I as a guest have to pay a lot of money to sleep there. Could be me, but it wasnt the best experience for me. Fatbikes all over the place and overall not the best experience. The guy behind the bar in the lobby was super friendly and served a great coffee.

Dit hotel is voor een groot gedeelte een soort AZC, prima ! maar laat dat dan weten, kunnen we kiezen of we daar zin in hebben... nu betaal je de hoofdprijs voor een vreemde ervaring, vieze lift met eten op de grond, geschreeuw in de gangen, starende jongemannen uit kamers tegenover je s`avonds, gordijnen moeten dicht, dames alleen gaan zich hier niet veilig voelen, jongeman achter de balie spreekt alleen Engels, wilde ook nog een borg van 150 euro, voor het geval dat we de kamer sloopten... man man man, hoe gastvrij ! Kortom, als we dit van te voren hadden geweten, hadden we een ander hotel genomen, doodzonde, want we vinden de stijl van het gebouw prachtig. Normaal lees ik altijd de reviews hier, was ik bij deze boeking niet aan toe gekomen, dom ! En een mooie verzameling fatbike`s voor de deur..

Rustgevend en gezellig met vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Superfijn personeel wat vriendelijk is en je van extra water voorziet (het was hittegolf week). Ik kwam in de week van mijn verjaardag en ze hadden zelfs muffins voor ons achtergelaten en een ballon, slingers en een kaartje. Het bad van de suits (met de echte planten) is heerlijk! Ik heb enorm genoten van het verblijf en zou hier zeker weer kunnen logeren

Cons:

1 van de 2 inloopdouches had alleen koud water

Je kan overdag geen rustgevend bad nemen, omdat die felle lichten tot 18:00 (ofzo) aanblijven voor de planten, terwijl ik zelf graag in het donker badder

De oude radios en poef achtige stoelen voegen niets toe aan de kamer.

Ondanks mijn zakelijke trip, voelde ik me toch 1 dag heel erg op vakantie!
Pros:

- de stijl en de renovatiewerken
- de propere kamers
- het persoonlijk en handgeschreven welkomstbericht
- maar vooral het oprecht vriendelijke personeel (zonder enige uitzondering)
Dat zijn de troeven van dit hotel!

Cons:

Er viel helemaal niks tegen. Zelfs de ligging aan de best drukke rotonde vergeet je helemaal, dankzij de ramen die weinig of geen geluid doorlaten.

Schitterend hotel, gelegen op centrale locatie, met zeer vriendelijke medewerkers.
Pros:

De gehele uitstraling van het rijksmonument en hoe het interieur daarop, terug in de tijd is aangepast.

Cons:

Het is eigenlijk zonde van zo een mooi hotel dat het deels gebruikt wordt door het coa. We hebben geen hinder ervan ondervonden, maar het mooi zijn als het weer geheel als hotel geëxploiteerd kan worden.
