A lovely setting with superb rooms, very comfortable beds
We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, highly recommended
My only observation was that they could do with a separate access corridor to the Terrace so people don’t have to walk through the dining room to access it , not that it really bothered us.
Beautiful old mension, great breakfast, super nice personnel
Power outage twice and no water once, but apparently a problem in the wider area.
Wedding during our stay with loud music until (luckily only) midnight.
We enjoyed our stay; it was on the way to exploring Kent. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of space for parking.
The bar lounge could be more cosy.
Wonderful bar service and bar space.
overall look and ambience
check in staff were very good
room looked slightly tired
Emplacement et charme du lieu
Chambre agréable mais vraiment très petite
My family booked for afternoon tea for my 60th. Was very bad service, sandwiches were as dry as a bone. Took half an hour for the tea to arrive after the food was brought out. It wasn’t busy, we were the only ones in the room! Strange over coloured mini cakes that were on revolting soggy shortbread. We couldn’t eat it! The only thing we paid for was the glass of champagne we each had which came to £50. Awful experience!
We attended a gathering after a friends funeral .the food provided was lovely ,the whole hotel seems to be very well maintained. The waiter Joey was very attentive and genial to one and all .this is a lovely venue for weddings and such functions
Great staff especially on the front desk, lovely venue and really good hotel food.
