Hotel De Buci is in an excellent location, close to great bistros, cafes, shops and sights. The hotel was quiet, clean and well maintained. Best part of our trip was the help we received from Chef Concierge, Mr Sanjay Kaloya. He arranged several private tours for us on short noticed, these made our trip!
We have such wonderful memories of our recent trip to Paris, so many of which Concierge, Mister Sanjay Kaloya helped plan. We thank Sanjay and the Hotel De Buci as always for all their assistance on our behalf. We always know that the staff will meet our needs with efficiency, forethought and kindness. We thank them so very much.
We also commend Maxim at the night desk to you. So many evenings we came down to him with requests. Often, he ordered us transportation . Mostly he supplied us with endless buckets of ice! He always found time for us no matter how busy he was.
We will continue you to cherish our memories of Paris, Hotel Buci and our favourite concierge and friend, Sanjay.

On arrival we received a warm welcome by the staff at the front desk and Sanjay the concierge offered us a cold drink which was well received in the extreme heat. We had a small issue with the first room we were given but a conversation with Maxim and we were assigned another room.
We had booked a Superior room, and it was exactly as the pictures show, very romantic and sumptuous. There was plenty of wardrobe space with a safe that was free to use. It took a few minutes to find the bathroom door as it was part of the silk padded wall 😂 It was small, but this wasn't an issue for us. Our room was at the back of the hotel and very peaceful. This along with the comfortable bed and electric night shutters meant we had some of the best night's sleep we have had on a trip away.
The hotel air-conditioning was a dream too - it felt like stepping into a fridge with the outside temperatures in the late 30's.
Breakfast was a small but tasty offering with some hot and cold choices which set us up for our morning of sightseeing.
There is a Spa that can be booked but we didn't as we had so much planned - maybe on a return visit.
Every staff member we met were friendly and Sanjay was on hand with his extensive knowledge of the city and all it has to offer.
The location- I am not sure you can beat it - the gentle bustle from all the bars, restaurants and shops until late was wonderful but once in the hotel it was calm.
The day we left, we decided to get a taxi to the airport using Uber, but it was unusually busy and not finding a driver. Stella on reception stepped in and manged to get a driver within 30 mins which we appreciated.
This was our first time in Paris, and we will be returning.....and yes, Hotel Buci will be our first choice.
You can’t fault the location of this hotel. It’s central to most attractions and has easy access to the metro. Although it’s in a busy area the rooms are well sound proofed. Air con worked well which is a plus if you’re staying during summer time. The staff were friendly and accommodating especially Sanjay, the chief concierge, who was always smiling and took the time to assist in any way he could. A wonderful stay in a beautiful city.
Hotel De Buci is a smaller hotel, but has everything that you need for an amazing stay!
There are 4 rooms on each floor. The hotel never felt crowded and it was very quiet. Our rooms had everything that we needed - comfortable beds, plentiful storage, a mini fridge, toiletries, and a safe. The hotel has air conditioning, which would have been adequate if we weren't there during this summer's heatwave! The front desk provided us with a fan for our room when we inquired about it, which made the room temperature perfect.
Sanjay, the Chief Concierge, made our stay exceptional. He always greeted us by name with a smile and provided excellent recommendations. He also took the time to get to know us, which I really appreciated.
The hotel has a breakfast buffet that had everything we needed. Yani, one of the breakfast managers, provided the best service we have ever had in a hotel restaurant. He was incredibly attentive, proactive, and always smiling.
The hotel's location is perfect! As soon as you step outside, you are surrounded by cafes and shops. St. Germaine is exactly what I picture when I think of Paris! The hotel is within walking distance of multiple Paris attractions, which made it very convenient. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Paris!
Beautiful boutique hotel in a fabulous location. Unlike many hotels in Paris, it had phenomenal air conditioning during a record heat wave that was very appreciated. The room was beautifully appointed and a good size for the location. Key tourist sites like Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, Musee D'Orsay, and the Louvre are all easily walkable. The elevator worked perfectly, and the breakfast had terrific variety. The concierge, Sanjay, and front desk staff were always willing to help and provide recommendations. When I had several Ubers cancel to take me to CDG, the front desk immediately jumped in to call a taxi and get me to the airport on time. Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommend.
The hotel is central to many Left Bank sites of interest and a pleasant walk to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, etc. Rue De Buci is a vibrant area with many good restaurants. Despite the activity, our room on the 5th floor at the back if the property was very quiet and comfortable. The decor was lovely, the room was clean, and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were in Paris during a heat wave and were grateful for the excellent air conditioning system in the hotel. The breakfast included freshly cooked scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and a variety of fresh fruits, breads and cold foods. The most outstanding characteristic of the Hotel De Buci is its staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcomed. We would definitely return!
We absolutely loved this charming boutique hotel in St. Germain! The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. Our rooms were beautifully decorated. The location was everything you dream of in Paris—charming, vibrant, and perfect for exploring.
Fantastic location and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfy and the room was very quiet, couldn't here any street traffic.
Room is a little small but that is expected in Paris so not that bad.
The location is perfect.
The staff so friendly and amazing at the reception and the gentleman in restaurant at breakfast.
Thanks
La posizione e la stanza con due bagni è un'idea stupenda!!!! La suite 31 meravigliosa.
La colazione scarsa e molte cose erano finite. Servirebbe qualche dolce fatto in casa o altra frutta
Mancavano i semi come noci o mandorle
Perfect location, friendly and competent staff and reasonably tasteful decoration but its a little tired. I’d be more generous with my rating but the entire place smelled like old smoke.
Our stay was wonderful! The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Sanjay, whose exceptional hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. He was always happy to help and made us feel truly valued as guests.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, you can step right outside and be within walking distance of some of the best cafés, restaurants, and attractions. We also loved the complimentary wine hour, which was such a nice touch and a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.
Everything was spotless, and we always felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
Gorgeous little hotel in the most fantastic location. Very helpful friendly staff. Loved being able to have sparkling and still water on tap whenever we needed too 😀
Nicely appointed and clean small shoe box rooms … but this is paris right?
Great location walking distance from everything .
Great staff especially the concierge that will make all of your wish list places to go materialise .
Lage Einrichtung
Kein warmes Wasser am Sonntag Vormittag und keinerlei Ersatzleistung nicht einmal eine Information
Zeer vriendelijk onthaal
Mooie inrichting van het hotel en kamers
Centrale locatie
The breakfasts were fantastic. The location was walkable to pretty much everywhere and it is in a beautiful and historic part of Paris.
The bathroom! The bathtub was very narrow and very slick. There were no bath mats and no handles, and the sides were high, which made us 50-something nervous about getting in and out. trying to shower I was sliding around and was convinced I was going to take a major fall. And I am athletic and thin. It’s just not the right bathroom for a lot of people.
