I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit LA.
Pros:

Pool, jacuzzi, clean and very close to the freeway, petrol station just around the corner. Everything it was perfect

As good as a Hampton Inn can be
Pros:

This hotel is located right off the ramp from Highway 101, yet if you can get a room facing away from the highway it's surprisingly quiet (overall I think this place has good soundproofing for an American hotel). The staff were pleasant, and the building was on the newer side. My room was pretty large (it was a studio suite), and very clean. The housekeeping was very well done and the room was in a nice shape. I particularly like the pulldown window blind they use. The AC wasn't the best one, but you can't expect too much for a room at this price.

One drawback of this hotel is that the parking lot can be full at night. But the front desk staff kindly told me in advance that I can park in the office park next doors so that's not a real issue. The breakfast was pretty standard yet they made sure nothing ran out and there were enough seats even on a weekend. Overall while this is still an Hampton Inn, not Four Seasons, I think they made the hotel as good as any Hampton Inn can be.
