We went on a weekend. Property was quiet & not a lot of people. We joked about hotel being haunted , we never saw any guest in the halls. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, this is the place. It’s definitely not a party place. Marina is conveniently nearby. Hotel bar & restaurant close early. We had to drive 20-30 minutes away to grab dinner. Staff was very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakeway Resort and Spa! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, especially the bellman who went out of his way to help us. The resort itself is very nice and relaxing. The rooms could use a little updating, but overall everything was clean and comfortable. Great experience and we’d definitely come back!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The bed was extremely comfortable. The convenience of the restaurant was great since there isn’t many dining places close. We enjoyed the adult only area of the pool and hot tub since we were on a weekend getaway. The resort is secluded and very quiet. Such a pretty view of the lake from our room!

Pros:

Restaurants were not well staffed; lengthy delays for everthing. No water for some of the trip. No notice of the lack of water. Not very accomodating after water went out. Extremely disappointing after the last trip. Will find another hotel for future family trips.

Pros:

Location is great, that's what you pay for here. Rooms are not good. They're supposed to have some type of air filtration, but our room smelled like mildew. Don’t eat at the restaurant, there are much better restaurants close by for the same price.

Old and dated. Musty, dark, old, and running only because of location. Mold in bathroom, dirty filter in vent, carpet stained. Food below average. Had to shut down all water to hotel because of leak in their old pipes. Water out all evening. Couldn't flush, no showers.

Pros:

Property is close to family that lives near by. I think the resort is overpriced. Rooms & taxes are already high & then they add nightly parking & a $50 a day resort fee. Although I like staying there I think there are other options to consider.
