Such an awesome experience! Nicest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Lenny and his team provided fantastic service.

My wife and I stayed at the Oceana Santa Monica, a Hilton property, using my Diamond member reward. We truly enjoyed our stay—the location was excellent, with restaurants just a short walk away. We stayed in a Lanai suite and were blown away with how nice it was. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything met their high standards, which made our experience even more memorable. We will certainly come back!!

Oceana is a great homebase to explore Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Venice Beach and Malibu .

This is easily my favorite hotel in the United States, and I travel every week. The service was incredible from start to finish, and Lenny was absolutely amazing. He made everything easy, welcoming, and honestly just better — the kind of person who makes you want to come back. The food was outstanding, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the overall vibe of the hotel just made me happy. It’s one of those places where you instantly relax and don’t want to leave.
Beds and linens were super lush and I slept like a baby.
Can’t recommend Oceana enough. We’ll definitely be back.

This hotel is completely worth it. The location is perfect and quiet on the very edge of Santa Monica, but everything is a quick walk from the Hotel. The room was amazing, super clean and maintained. The amenities were top notch. The pool is heated and the gym was amazing. The hotel staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced. They remembered us every time we walked in and were super accommodating for the few extras we needed. Devan was also amazing at helping us with our bags and making sure we were able to get where we needed to go! We will definitely be back out next time to LA!

Devon and Peter were fantastic at the hotel. They reminded excellent service. And help us get checked in and took care of us and our vehicle all Weekend. Extremely nice hotel. Would recommend it as the Best in Santa Monica.

Stayed at the Oceana for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from Santa Monica Pier. The valet staff is fabulous. Other than that, my partner and I found the whole experience to be mediocre at best. The in-room dining food was absolutely horrible. We had been upgraded from a Seaside Oceanfront Suite to a Signature Oceanfront Suite, and it was comfortable enough but not worth the rates (for the previous four nights we had been at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel, which was exceptional and comparably priced). The in-room technology was glitchy, the lights flickered, some of the furniture was broken, lampshades were loose and crooked and couldn't be fixed, bar and coffee station hadn't been prepared for our stay from prior guests, during our stay housekeeping forgot to refresh the coffee and minibar. Overall I'd say we definitely will not be back, and I think we will stick with Marriott properties from now on.

As part of an extended business trip to Southern California, we spent a Sunday evening at the Oceana in Santa Monica. It was our first time at the hotel. We hope that we will return again soon.

The entire staff was helpful before, during and after our stay. Before we arrived, the team communicated with us. They helped me with an overnight order and they even helped us arrange morning yoga at the property.

During the stay, everyone was exceptional. I am sorry that I am not leaving more names. The valet and front desk were exceptional. The restaurant staff were great. Even housekeeping went above and beyond.

Nestor, Julian and Angie were some of the memorable staff. People stepped up and helped each other.

Oh, and the property and the rooms were exceptional. It's not cheap, but it was worth it for a special night.

One more compliment- after we left, I ordered something that I meant to send home. I forgot to change the date and the package was sent to the hotel. The front desk supervisor Laura N called us, and then arranged the return for us. Even notifying us was helpful, because I needed the supplies that weekend, but going beyond was appreciated by me and my partner.

I had a minor issue (completely my fault) and they were understanding and solved it easily

This was my second time staying at the Oceana, and it was just as wonderful as the first! From the moment I arrived, Nestor greeted me with such warmth and professionalism. He helped with my luggage and personally escorted me to my room, making sure I had everything I needed. Later during my stay, I met Devan, another bellman, who was equally kind, attentive, and very handsome!

Both Nestor and Devan went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and well taken care of. Their friendly personalities and genuine hospitality are a big part of why I keep coming back to the Oceana. Thank you both for making my stay so enjoyable!

Everything is perfect when I’m at Oceana.

Service here is perfect: Attentive, friendly and helpful. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the Oceana LXR pampered us. Erick at the front desk acknowledge my Hilton Diamond status and updated the reservation so we received two $25 Hilton credits.

Superstar Bell Captain Lenny was gracious and made us feel at home. His recommendation for coffee at Primo Passo, a short walk up Montana, got us off to a great start. The staff always greeted us by name and anticipated what we needed with near telepathic accuracy.

The historic hotel, remodelled in 2019, was once the home of Stan Laurel (a signature cocktail bears his name). Room 224 featured a large sitting area, a large marble tiled bathroom and beautiful view across Palisade park to the Pacific. The decor is understated and chic.

Really enjoyed our stay. We were in suite 202 with a sea view.
The suite was spectacular with a lot of storage and seating.

The main restaurant is not open yet but looks wonderful. Breakfast by the pool was good and the pool area itself is lovely.
All the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help and recommend restaurants. The Bell team were particularly helpful.

We have stayed at this property multiple times and it keeps getting better and better. Its beautifully decorated in both the rooms and the common areas and the staff is very accomodating. And their new restaurant is SO gorgeous !!

My wife has stayed here with my daughter many times. They love this hotel because rooms are large and luxurious. Seems like converted apartments but very well done. Stay is always very comfortable.Across from beach and shopping.

We recently stayed at the Oceana Hotel in Santa Monica for my partner’s birthday staycation, and it was nothing short of wonderful. We booked an ocean view suite, and the view was absolutely breathtaking.

While we did have a small hiccup (we got briefly stuck in the elevator), the way the team handled it turned what could have been stressful into a memory we now laugh about. They went above and beyond to look after us, and their genuine care really stood out.

The pool is as charming as it looks in photos and perfect for lounging. The food was exceptional as well, some of the freshest produce we’ve ever had at a hotel. From room service to poolside dining, everything felt thoughtful and high quality.

A special thanks to Kezai Jones, the Director of Front of House, who made sure every detail of our stay was smooth and celebratory. We’d also like to recognize Erick at the front desk and the amazing pool and room service staff who were warm, attentive, and professional. The housekeeping and cleanliness was A+ as well.

My partner’s birthday celebration couldn’t have been more memorable, and we’re so grateful to the team at Oceana for making it so special. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and truly outstanding service in Santa Monica.
