Loved it, we will return soon.
Pros:

Everything was absolutely perfect. Perfect location with spectacular views of the lake. Beautifully and lavishly restored . Dinner was hot and delicious (we both had the pie ). The staff are extremely efficient and helpful..our room was a garden view but we could still see the lake through the trees,it was lovely.

Cons:

The buffet breakfast could have been hotter. A hotel of this class I would expect the hot breakfast to be cooked fresh and just fruit,bread ,cereals and cold items to be on the buffet.otherwise it would have been delicious, good quality food.

Pleasant, but please improve your staffing structure.

Outside Building work ongoing under our window. However, we were aware beforehand of this and it did not affect our stay

Cons:

Staffing. The bar staff seemed to be fulfilling several roles and guests were either having to wait to be served or go looking for them! Not what I would have expected from this quality of hotel. Also, reception and waiting on staff seemed to treat guests like we were a chore, not even a courteous greeting or a smile now and then. The only exception to this was the housekeeper who was always helpful.

Lovely place to stay
Pros:

The location and staff were excellent. No need for a car - can easily walk to the pier, catch local buses to visit all nearby villages, take the ferry and easy pick up point for tours.

Cons:

Parts of the hotel are in need of refreshing. Surprisingy there are no tissues provided in the bedrooms or Shampoo and Conditioner.

Clean rooms and a convenient location, but one staff member’s rude and disrespectful behaviour ruine
Pros:

The room was generally clean and well maintained. The bedding was clean, and the bathroom was also in good condition. Overall, I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the guest room.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the rude and disrespectful behaviour of a staff member named Driss completely overshadowed our breakfast experience. We were so upset by the incident that we barely ate anything and could not properly enjoy our breakfast. This experience also negatively affected my overall impression of the hotel.

The hotel subsequently refunded the breakfast charge, which I acknowledge. However, the hotel has stated that it does not believe racial discrimination was involved. I sincerely hope this reflects a genuine commitment to treating all guests equally, rather than simply being a way to defend a member of staff.

There was also a strong unpleasant smell around the lift area in the hotel lobby.
