Beautiful hotel and the views were outstanding. Charlie in reception was warm and friendly upon arrival and during the stay. Remembering our names each time was a warming touch x
Bath did not drain well when showering, room 28, shower gel very small amount in the pots.
Great location hotel looking tatty
It was lovely just expensive fir the quality
Just back from taking my mum away to this gorgeous hotel.
The staff are 5 Stars in every way and considering they are upgrading the hotel nothing is too much trouble.
We also dined 2 nights for our evening meals , all meals where excellent and the prices where not overpriced.
Looking forward to returning when the swimming pool and spa have been built.
This Hotel is in a great location too.
Everything.
Staff are amazing especially Diego. Miguel & Nick who went out of there way to make my mum's stay special.
Location and views are brilliant.
Not long enough there 😂
The reception staff are unprofessional.
Room service is very poor.
They do not care about cleaning the bathroom or the room.
They leave the beds dirty.
They need proper training on how to communicate with guests.
The reception staff also require training courses on how to deal professionally with people.
There is a staff member named Diego who is extremely rude and unprofessional.
Someone frantic knocking on the room door while I was in the shower to say there was a leak and I had to jump out semi naked.
We thought we’d stop for a coffee with a view over Lake Windermere. Hotel was very quiet for a Sunday so had plenty of parking and were in and out in 30 minutes. Despite thinking we were hotel patrons, we were stung with a £100 fine in the post. Most expensive coffees ever and won’t be returning!!!!
The hotel is perfectly situated right in the heart of Bowness. It overlooks the lake and we were lucky enough to receive a compliemntaty upgrade to a lake view room which was beautiful. The room, bathroom and bed were all huge and very clean. The hotel has had a recent refurbishment and it’s obvious with brand new carpets throughout and a fresh lick of paint in communal rooms. The bar and breakfast rooms are spacious and well decorated with the former overlooking the lake which is very pleasant in the morning. The hotel breakfast had everything you could think of, the crossaints and muffins were particularly delicious!
Nothing, I would stay here again.
the view was nice
room was small, had to reverse into the bathroom and im not a large a bloke. bed wasn't comfy at all woke up with a bad back,
Nice and clean, plenty of parking, friendly staff and very helpful. Lovely room and en-suite. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
Only negative was the charge for parking which was £15 for overnight. Apparently it says it is chargeable on the website and app but I must of missed it.
We’ve just returned from an incredible stay celebrating my wife’s birthday, and everything about our visit was exceptional. Every member of staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough to make our stay special.
We were kindly upgraded to a stunning four-poster room complimentary by the hotel, which made the occasion even more memorable. It was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and we will absolutely be returning in the future.
A special thank you to Taylor, the bar manager, for being so accommodating and going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time.
The location was lovely.
The food at dinner was very tasty.
The room was large and had a great TV and the shower was very good.
The staff were all lovely and friendly with good banter from Taylor and Pugs (Ian).
Miguel and Philip were also extremely helpful and friendly.
Some of the hot food at breakfast was not hot, just lukewarm.
We did not think the selection was particularly high quality/choice for the price you pay for breakfast. More cereal and a better selection of yoghurts
, fresh fruits would be nice.
The bed was not particularly comfortable.
Really close to the town and overlooking the lake. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. They were all just so lovely!
Nothing.
Perfectly located hotel, just a few small steps away from all the bars, restaurants and shops.
We were upgraded upon arrival into the Junior Suite which was beautiful. Yes there were building works but nothing that affected our stay. Thank you to Charlie and to Phil for welcoming us.
Breakfast. Professional Staff very attentive.
Smell of paint due to the ongoing renovations. my wife's sinuses were affected alittle.
