Lovely hotel and staff. Only comment we had was the bar in the evening was too bright. Would have been nicer if the lights had been a little softer.
Not being told about the building work but the hotel was good when me mentioned it
Staff were fantastic, welcoming reception, beautiful views, our room was very spacious and comfortable.
Not much to say here, if being very picky we would have liked a mini fridge for baby milk, some chairs a little worn in room.

We are returning guests so in comparison to our first visit the rooms are really looking worn.
We had black mould above the shower, leak staining over the windows from above, stained curtains. Not sure if it’s because we used a 3rd party platform (booking.com) that they gave us a bad room ? I did mention to reception and they offered to move us. This was approx 8pm and we were checking out at 5am so it wasn’t worth the effort of moving I was just quite shocked at the standard of the room.

Quartos demasiado antigos para o preço praticado. Janelas a fechar mal de tão antigas que eram e por isso entravam muito frio. Aquecimento antiquado que não conseguimos ligar (mas quarto estava quente qb). Hotel a precisar de urgentes remodelações no interior também (estão a fazer no exterior) pasta fazer jus à magnitude do espaço e do preço praticado

Staff very pleasant and helpful
Perfect location to explore the local area. Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Hotel is in excellent decor & comfortable. Very nice compact room. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice & excellent quality.
My main criticism is having to pay for the car park. Hotel guests should have free parking as £15 per day is costly, especially if you are not using it as I only used it overnight as we took car out every day. A minor is our room was too warm especially at night & couldn't have the window open as it was too noisy early in the morning from the seagulls.
