Breakfast was excellent with many choices. Dinner depending on choice was good, some of my friends did not select well fish in batter was poor, fried too much and fish dry. Chicken in butter chicken was overcooked but overall a nice meal.
No real negative points, hotel and staff were very good.
Wonderful property and grounds. Fabulous view from our patio
Everything was great.
The location - absolutely stunning views.
Restaurant - delicious meal, exceptionally good quality and price
A lot of stairs for carrying heavy luggage. Didn’t seem to be anything to assist with that, so wouldn’t recommend the hotel to older friends.
Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was in the main building which I was pleased about. Modernised traditional room with good bathroom and very comfortable bed. Also air con - great given the heatwaves we are enjoying (?) at the moment.
Had dinner in the restaurant, interesting menu including some Indian dishes. My butter chicken was fabulous.
Breakfast was also to a good standard with a generous array of hot, good quality items.
Made good use of the spa area including the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna cabin.
Didn’t encounter any problems at all.
Location is perfect for exploring Tewkesbury. The rooms a clean, specious comfy and offer great views. The spar is a bonus. We have stayed several times and will do so again,

Lovely friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and good amenities. We stayed here as part of a multi-generarional family group and there was something for everyone.
Rooms weren't huge and the beds were on the soft side. Lots of stairs and no disabled/ wheelchair access.
Environment, cleanliness, next to battlefield,
Service though overall good can be improved especially at the only restaurant on site.
Set in a lovely location
The hotel didn’t have any air conditioning and our bedroom was uncomfortably warm.
Good golf course and the Mint Room was well designed. Breakfast had a good selection, would have been good to have more vegetarian options, but overall the selection was nice. Dinner was also very tasty in the Mint Room. There was one waiter who was working Saturday morning & evening that was really great- sorry I didn’t get their name.
The spa staff were very lovely and really helpful.
Also the hotel is in a good location near the town.
Here are a few things that would have made my stay better:
On arrival, the Reception staff didn’t explain where breakfast, the spa, any of the facilities were as I would usually expect from a four star hotel. We had to ask about a few of them, but forgot about other others. We also weren’t hold what time breakfast was at or what our checkout time was on our last day .
Originally the room we were allocated was a joining room and there was no way of locking the adjoining door which was very weird. We got this swapped and our new one felt quite dark. There wasn’t a netted curtain so you could have natural sunlight coming in without everyone being able to see into your room so it meant the curtains had to stay closed for a lot of the morning, which was unfortunate. The room got very hot at night despite having a fan so I don’t think there was a very good circulation.
I will say, the spa staff were exceptional and the massage was perfect. Usually when I stay at spa hotels there will be robes and slippers/flip-flop to provided which was not this one.
The golf course was nice, very well kept especially considering the heat we’ve been having. I would just say an improvement on this would be for the Reception to sell bottled water so that the golfers can go around with it.
We absolutely loved our stay at Tewkesbury Park. Make sure you stay for more than one night! Lovely staff, great dinner and breakfast. Awesome facilities - it was great having the pool/spa after weeks of travelling around. To top it off it had a very comfy bed.
Really comfortable stay
Amazing shower
Bed comfy
Breakfast excellent
No grab rail in shower
It was a lovely hotel with excellent facilities.
The dinner menu was good with sufficient choice for 2 nights but maybe not many more nights.
The room was good with tea and coffee making facilities.
I would have preferred more choice of cold options at breakfast, such as different yogurts, mixed fruit, prunes etc., otherwise it as fine.
