Staff were friendly, bed comfortable. We had an issue with our first room as could smell cigarette smoke in the corridor but the staff were really helpful and gave us a different room with no problems
Interesting digital door locking system with code but really hard to turn and pull the door knob as it’s so smooth. Would be difficult for anyone with dexterity issues. Would recommend that property out additional handles inside the rooms to ensure people can pull open the door
This place is amazing. Ive had to stay here a few times. The last time was very last minute. Not only was it a reasonabke price the kind lady at reception had recognised my name and put me in my favourite room. This place will always be my go to hotel. Thank you so much for another warm reception and comfortable stay. Top Class as always.
We were attending a cremation at the nearby cemetery so convenient location
Groups of noisy youths congregated outside in seating area. Although refurbished the bathrooms needed more attention.
Location was ideal for the purpose of my stay
Smell of cigarette smoke throughout the corridors of the hotel and not a stale smell a very fresh smell. Dirty boxer shorts still hanging on the radiator when I first enter my room.
Very clean, comfortable bed and nice space. The staff were really helpful on where to go.
Rooms a bit cold, hot water wasn’t working when I stayed and the bar was lovely but dead in terms of atmosphere.
Great night away for work , plenty of parking and friendly staff
The Hotel facade looks fine, and the foyer and reception areas are fine, but once you pass the reception area everywhere looks like it needs a clean or a lick of paint. The corridor to the room was nice and modern, but the room and the bathroom definitely needed a facelift. The staff were friendly enough, but I didn't really have too much interaction with them. This is a real budget hotel given the price, so I guess the modernisation is to be expected, I just wanted to leave an honest review.
Paint peeling from the wall and chips in the paintwork. The room just didn't have that "clean" feel to it. The lift felt dirty and in need of a good scrub too. As previously stated, this is a budget hotel given the price, but these things are easy to rectify in my opinion.
Haven't been for years the interior is lovely staff lovely
No heating in room
