Room was unclean behind the bed on skirting boards
Too noisy by the traffic
No space in the room
Smelled of the bathroom
TV ariel wasn't good
Had to go up 4 flights of stairs

My room yes I paid for a basic room but it was not very clean dust on blinds dust everywhere and the bed was not even properly made as sheets where all cresses, The bathroom really needs an update water pressure was poor and just old fashioned, The breakfast was okish but the food did not taste great yea I know for £7 what you expect but could be better.

Only possible Nit Picking Complaint is the Key Code entry System wasn't Immediately Obvious at the Room Door Handle Illuminated as a Keypad when Stroked the Right Way..

when booked via booking.com the message requesting two single beds didn't get passed through the booking process, staff called (as above staff friendly and helpful) ensured that two single bed room provided. the room itself needs to be maintained better as noted on many of the google reviews for the hotel, mine had cracks in bathroom floor, bathroom sink, missing paint and enamel on bath tub, electric heater didnt work, staff did attempted to get it working then hunted down a small heater fan, which i didn't notice was smothered in dust so the fan only went on for 10 seconds before going off as it filled the air with that horrible burning dust smell.

shower was broken, room stunk of cigarette smoke and the breakfast was nonexistent the chef was really poor and the bread was stale

Walls are paper thin you could hear everything from the other rooms!! No heating in the room, tv very limited Chanels, filthy rooms, very uncomfortable beds, it advertises a restaurant on site but doesn’t do food! Struggled to unlock and open doors!

I have been staying in this hotel once or twice a year for the past 7 years.
The WIFI is fast but inconsistent particularly the top floor front rooms around 51. This is well known to staff and so I tested it first and asked to be moved to a room with working WIFI. Rooms with working WIFI are not always available.
The free parking requires you to type in your registration and makes a big thing of you being charged if you make a mistake. Our registration is a collection of "O" and "0" so take care to type it in correctly.

Lack of ability for evening meals as had to go out for food. The building was cold.

Bathroom shower and the cyclone around bath pieces unsightly

the bed mattress was filthy, the springs were gone it was impossible to sleep on so uncomfortable we ended up sleeping on the bunk bed mattress, the bunk bed was so unstable we had to pull the mattress off. The kitchen facilties were dirty as was everything else in the room. No cutlery or plates ? the bathroom was something else, old dirty fixtures and fittings. The fire exit at the end of the corridor had a padlock on, when we asked staff they said it was to stop people going on the fire excape to smoke!

General cleanliness

Room - Filthy, stains on upholstery, a pile of debris and dirt under the bed (which I had had to move in order to reach and charge phone on socket. Grimy dust on ledges and furniture. Bathroom was disgusting. Toilet dirty, bath dirty, floor dirty, toilet moved, This room should not be charged out. I have been kind enough to not upload the photos.
