We recently stayed at Hotel Royal Court in Rome and had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Location: The location was perfect for exploring Rome. Being just a short walk from Termini Station made travelling around the city incredibly easy, whether arriving from the airport or visiting Rome's famous attractions.
Atmosphere: The hotel had a warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. It felt peaceful after busy days exploring the city and was a lovely place to return to each evening.
Rooms: Our room was comfortable, well-appointed and provided everything we needed for a great stay. It was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the rooms to a high standard.
Value: We felt the hotel offered excellent value for money, especially considering the location, quality of the accommodation and level of service provided.
Cleanliness: The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout, from the reception areas to our room. Everything was spotless and very well maintained.
Noise Level: Despite being so close to Termini Station and the heart of the city, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and allowed us to enjoy restful nights of sleep.
Service: The service was outstanding. Every member of the team was friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and special.
A particular highlight was the lovely surprise birthday cake they arranged for our daughter during our stay. It was such a thoughtful gesture and created a wonderful memory for our family that we will always remember.
Thank you to the entire team for making our visit to Rome so enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and would highly recommend Hotel Royal Court to anyone visiting the city.
Location was extremely convenient to the train station. The neighborhood is quieter than most parts of Rome but convenient enough to walk (or catch a bus) to many major destinations. The hotel staff provided us with a upgraded room at no charge, and they were kind enough to hold on to our bags after check-out while we took in a few last sites before our trains departure. Great experience overall.

Hotel have disaster sound isolation. Also they don't do refund. All the time you are hearing door slamming, people shouting and other noises. I don't know how this hotel can have 4 stars and this price. I feel like i got scammed for the money.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. The sound insulation is absolutely terrible—easily the worst we've experienced. Throughout our stay, we could constantly hear loud banging and thumping coming from other rooms.
On our first night, we stayed on the third floor. At 10:30 p.m. we were kept awake by loud banging, and then the exact same noise woke us up again at 5:30 a.m. After we complained, the staff moved us to a ground-floor room. Unfortunately, the situation was no better. The noise was different, but there was still constant banging throughout the day. It's obvious that the problem isn't a particular room or floor—it's the entire building and its terrible sound insulation.
The hotel also has a no-refund policy. I honestly suspect that's because many guests would leave after the first night if they had the option.
What I find most shocking is that this hotel has a 4-star rating. A hotel of this category should at least provide a quiet environment where guests can get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, that's simply impossible here.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.
The breakfast was amazing. Very good selection and variety. The location was very central easy access to the subway and restaurants. It was convenient as a base location to visit old Rome by subway.
