Excellent location if you plan to visit the Redwoods or any of the nearby towns.
Weird that there was no hand soap by the bathroom sink. Would be nice if there was a garbage can next to the ice machine instead of people just piling up trash next to it. Pool could be a little warmer. No complaints about the room itself though.
Der Pool und das Gym sind sehr schön
Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel, die Matratzen durchgelegen und die Kopfkissen hart.
Polite staff, comfy beds, quiet
Out of bar soap which was odd and the hot tub wasn't working. Carpet in the hallways smell dirty.
Beautiful location
I didn’t like that housekeeping knocked on our door before checkout time. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:00am when checkout time was 11. My family and I were still sleeping.
Proximity to Santa Cruz. Grandson was graduating from UCSC early the next day!
Also couldn’t stay for breakfast due to early departure, so kitchen manager allowed us to go through buffet and box it to go! Very accommodating and very much appreciated!
How close it was to the freeway
Hot tub didnt work also no pool towels
The thermostat didnt work my kids were freezing
Charged me an extra 300 dollars for no reason
I had to pay for breakfast when every where else it’s complementary
I went from paying $800 for my stay to nearly $1,200
location, staff, easy check in process. Good size room and enough space.
Shower outdated, over priced and breakfast and parking not included is a drawback
Location
😄
Nice pool
Friendly bar staff and happy hour
Staff very pleasant
Breakfast too expensive
Lots of walking involved and for old folks it was very tiring.
Elevators very slow to arrive probably because only one elevator.
Not enough coffee/tea in the room. It would have been nice to have coffee available in the lobby in the morning; as most of us had to drive to starbucks for more coffee.
The lighting in the room was very poor, especially around the coffee making area. I had to carry the coffee maker to the bathroom so i could read the instructions and have easier access to the water and machine.
Beautiful property! Josh really helped us to clear up an error with our booking. This property and staff was very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again.
Na
We booked this place for a weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary near the Santa Cruz Mountains, thinking a Hilton would be good, but no, from check-in to the room, it was bad.
When we checked in, the front desk staff member was unfriendly. Thankfully, we had picked our room beforehand. The property was okay, nothing great. The balcony view was just the parking lot. Everything was paid for, from the bottled water in the room to breakfast. We got some takeout and didn't have cutlery - they asked us to come to the bar to get cutlery, and the person at the bar even gave us plastic ones. They asked, "How many people are staying?" and gave us only the exact amount. I was surprised.
Just wanted to point out how horrible their customer service was - they had painted the edge of the sidewalk and failed to put up any signage. I had a bad fall and hurt myself. I went to the front desk to see if I could get some first aid. The staff handed me 2 small bandages. That's it. I told them what happened, and another guy fell down too. He said he would call maintenance to put up a sign, but nothing was done during our stay. We had to go to CVS to get something to clean my wounds. This totally spoiled the stay. Nobody called to check what happened. Nothing.
Overall, I'd skip this location due to the poor location and horrible customer service, compared with the other Hilton we stayed at.
Location is very convenient to redwoods, state parks, Santa Cruz. Many nice walks are just a few miles away. Room was large, comfortable, functional, but otherwise unexceptional.
They charge $18/night for parking which is outrageous considering its location well outside of any urban zone.
