Although an older hotel it was comfortable. The breakfast could have more variety. I Loved that the balcony overlooked the river.
The air conditioner drained right into balcony leaving a puddle so you had to watch every time you went out on balcony to sit. The water from the room above ours would drip from their balcony and splash onto our balcony getting us wet. The carts used for luggage could have been better.
The hotel is in a good location tourist wise. The balcony view is beautiful on the creek.
The pool area is right next to the dumpsters and there were stray cats everywhere. The breakfast was not great. Food was cold, watery eggs and the dining area was not clean. The staff was very cold and unwelcoming. One of our beds did not have linens and I was told to wait while he washed & dried some, it was already past 10 pm. The table offered in the kitchen area was so wobbly and unstable we couldn’t even use it during dinner.

Pool was green. Elevator didn’t work one night had to walk up 7 flights. Waited 3 hrs for sheets for the pull out couch. Pizza between the couch cushions. Food on the TV screen. Finger prints all over the windows. The frig cabinet door was falling off
Everything about it was perfect 🙂 I did not get to eat breakfast but, everything was clean. Pleasant smelled good. No bed bugs!
More soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner would have been nice. But I'm sure I could have asked and they would have given to me 🙂

Everything , outdated , rooms smelled like damp mold smell , staff was smoking right outside the check in , woke up itching from our bed sheets and covers being so damp they felt wet.

The staff wasnt very friendly. The property needs a deep cleaning and tlc.
Hotel grounds are absolutely filthy. Breakfast was poor with powdered eggs served. Coffee very weak, pool green. Ugliest hotel I've ever seen. Staff not friendly.
I originally booked 1 night and called to stay two more nights (now I refundable, so, we stayed 3 nights in room 605). On our way to the hotel, I got a call asking if we planned to use the fold out sofa bed as a bed because they had a room but the sofa no longer could fold out. I said we didn’t need it as a bed but still needed as a sofa.
So very disappointed from the moment we pulled in. Room smelled very musty, had to keep the balcony door open for hour and bought some fabreeze. The aforementioned sofa was too broken down to sit on without using 5 of the mediocre bed pillows to cushion it. The sink was extremely slow draining and didn’t go through the trap, you your spit from brushing your teeth of hand washing or whatever the prior guests put down would come back up with just a very little new water. Pretty gross, my husband reported it but is was not corrected. Found a little trash the vacuum didn’t get along the edge of the sofa. The pillows were flat and hard with a few flat and squishy. The beds were ok. The pool was gross , green and just neglected.
Now the good stuff, fridge and toilet were good and the shower was great.
Location is great and the rooms are fairly clean. Also the sound of the creek from the balcony is peaceful. The sink and carpet could use a deep clean. It is not close to all the busy downtown traffic, but close enough to walk. Sadly, the staff upon check-in was not friendly. We previously stayed here before and loved it. This stay we seemed like a bother to them.
Outdated and things were broken
Loved the location and breakfast was pretty good.
- We put our “room service requested” sign on the door and no one ever came. It was up all day morning to night until bedtime. That was disappointing.
- A couple stains on the bedding, nothing huge and it still looked clean but it was concerning.
- The floor felt very damp when we walked in and turned our feet black.
- The pool was okay, kind of dirty but it’s outside so we understood. Smaller than originally thought.
- Our balcony light did not work so we had to sit in the dark if we wanted to be on it after child’s bedtime.
- I felt the photos looked a whole lot better than the actual room itself.
