You like central location? Good choice. You want comfort for your money? Bad choice
Pros:

Central point location. Close to transit

Cons:

First night we checked in the Indian lady working the front was super rude, on top of that they didn’t give us water, a kettle or anything like that as their excuse was “because your room is windowless we didn’t give you water.” First night we stayed I felt a drip on my head and was confused as to what it was. Second day comes around I feel more dripping I tell my husband and he was also confused till he felt it happen to him and turns out the ventilation was leaking on our faces during the night from the AC. Our last day we kindly went down and informed the older Asian man working the front desk, who apologized for the inconvenience and gave us a better room on a different floor to switch to (which also that floor smelt better than the original floor we were on). Overall, if you don’t care about comfort and are willing to deal with discomfortable situations but want a central place, it’s good. That price though is not good value for your money. I gave it a 3 because of the older Asian man and location.

Pros:

The location is very good, a short walk to Bencoolen MRT. The hotel is an older building, but it's a very good stay for the price. The staff are friendly and checking in is easy. I would definitely recommend it for a short stay in Singapore.

Cons:

A bit old and maybe not as clean as some modern hotels but I still think it's a very good stay for the price.

Best value for money for vicinity to complete subway network and tourist attractions
Pros:

Brilliant value, perfect vicinity to subways, super clean, well maintained, had all the essentials, good air conditioning and close to bucket list locations like Boat Quay, The Atlas Hotel, Raffles and the National Museum.
