Manager totally went out of his way to accommodate us, with a very last minute booking.
Got down for breakfast, and wasn't unduly late - about 8.30 - found a table, but no explanation of how service worked
No hot water, couldn't find any wait service to top it up. Waited a long time for someone to take our breakfast order, when it did come was well below par for the price we paid.
No pastries left, and when we went to get toast it was already cleared away.
Matters wad very uncomfortable mot much sleep
It was good for the price
Nothing
Hotel was out dated rooms were poor windows were filthy
NEEDS A REFURBISH DESPERATELY
I found the accommodation adequate, plenty of towels and obviously just been refurbished.
I did struggle with was my luggage, no lift, and as a 75 year old woman I found it difficult to get to my room.
Room was clean and comfortable
Nothing it’s rotten
It smells like wet dog and theirs leak marks coming through the walls and rooms are really cold beds are uncomfortable basically needs knocking down
Its location and price
Kitchen not operation. Lack of choice from vending machine
Nothing, the property was disgusting.
The bathroom was covered in mould, which was both awful and extremely unhygienic, especially as I had two young children with me. The Wi-Fi did not reach the room at all and was essentially non-existent. On top of that, the room had not been cleaned before our arrival — there was dirt on the floor, thick dust and cobwebs throughout, and spiders everywhere.
Breakfasts and stocked up bar
Dirty rude staff didn't want to help with anything changed room due to disgusting bed with dirty marks on sheets pillows and duvet ....no restaurant open nor no cutlery to eat anything we ordered food in from .....
Same as above
It's a perfectly adequate place to stay. No frills room. There's a bar and a oub just down the road does a buffet breakfast.
My room was a long way from reception
We needed a bed for the night and that is (at a push) what we got. The room and bathroom were clean. Staff friendly.
It was cheaper than taxi from Himley to Sutton Coldfield and met the need as we were in the area for a festival that we could walk to and back from. It was quiet and the car was safe - remember to register your reg for parking.
The hotel is dated and the beds uncomfortable, pillows were as flat as a pancake and only one available. The room was far too hot for summer but window opened fully into the car park which we felt was a security risk - needs some sort of catch/lock so did not open where I (or a stranger) could climb in and out of. Dripping tap was also annoying.
Bed, room and towels nice and clean.
Bathroom in need of serious make over. Sink cracked, shower tray and surround stained. Shower started warm then suddenly was very hot, made my back very sore, was expecting blisters. No tumblers in bathroom, no teaspoon for coffee, only 2 coffee sticks,no teabags. Only one pillow each on the bed.
