The very very best most special boutique hotel to stay at in Ft. Lauderdale . Period.
Not a darn thing
Das Hotel ist ein Juwel in dieser Umgebung.
Schade, dass es im Mai geschlossen und danach abgerissen wird!
Estacionamento fácil , serviço muito bom . Muito bem localizado. Ótimo.
Another stay at the Pillars for Valentine’s Day weekend. We had a lovely, romantic couple of days and especially enjoyed dinner by the water - the sunsets are beautiful and our favorite part of the experience. As foodies, we love the breakfast and dinner selection but wish there was more variety in the lunch menu. Recommend grabbing a cocktail and sitting by the pool or waterside to soak in the old Fort Lauderdale vibes!
I will start by saying the staff are very professional and friendly. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. The soul purpose was to escape the winter of 2026. The motel is clean but needs to be updated. I paid about $500 a night and this is not a $500 a night hotel. I did not eat in the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the food. The rooms are clean but dated. My main complaint! I take showers before bed. Each shower I took the hot water lasted about two minutes. Cold showers are not what I saw looking for when the outside temp was 50. So, with a soaped up body. I turn the shower off and wait 5 mins until the hot water returned. This happened every night. It also happened during the day. The room was never cleaned until late mid afternoon. I have stayed in expensive hotels and cheap motels and The Pillars room cost is not in line with what they offer.
The hotel can best be described best as quaint, elegant, and very charming. Our room had partial water views and I loved how calm and intimate the whole place felt. It was colder than we expected, but the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, which made a big difference. I’d definitely stay here again.
My wife and I recently had dinner at The Pillars and it was fantastic. From watching the sunset while dining on the intracoastal to the food (scallops entree and dates appetizer are must-haves) and service being on-point, we had an enjoyable evening and will be back very soon. The intimacy of The Pillars is what makes it so special, and they once again hit every detail.
Avoid. Short of staff. baggage fellow brings your breakfast as there are no servers. Note the majority of reviews are from 1 contributor. Setting on the inland waterway is scenic, but having to find staff for anything is a low service operation. front desk gave a blank stare when we asked for help in finding salons nearby.
We have stayed at The Pillars many times over the last ten years or so. Each time is more impressive than the last. The staff is absolutely amazing! The property is beautiful and intimate, but what makes the experience so memorable are the amazing people who work here. Elena, Carmen, Allan, Vlad, and everyone else have become family and make not only us but every guest feel special. In a world of hectic corporate hotels, The Pillars stands out as peaceful escape.

Food is so delicious and the view is stunning! but what really made a wonderful experience was our waitress, Elena. She is attentive, friendly, and truly makes guests feel welcome. Her service was seamless without ever being intrusive, and she has a great eye for detail. You can tell she genuinely cares about providing an exceptional experience. Thank you!
A lovely and intimate hotel with excellent service. The restaurant was very good and the atmosphere throughout the property was calm and welcoming. Aleisha was incredibly kind and attentive, which made a big difference in our stay.
Enjoyed our stay. Shower tub drained slowly.
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The Pillars offers a serene, upscale environment that feels like a private escape. The restaurant was very good and added so much to the overall experience. We felt well taken care of from beginning to end, and Aleisha’s warm and attentive service made a lasting impression. Highly recommend.
Beautiful boutique hotel with a peaceful, upscale atmosphere. The restaurant was very good, with great food and a relaxed setting, and the overall service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay, especially Aleisha, the front desk manager, who made everything seamless from start to finish. A true hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale and definitely worth a visit.
Without a doubt, The Pillars Hotel & Club is the coziest in Fort Lauderdale, with an engaging atmosphere that makes us feel loved, offering very special dinners and top-quality live music. And all of this graced with a stunning sunset. Truly a unique experience that everyone should have. Congratulations on making our dreams come true.
Wonderful experience at the bar. Elena was exceptional — attentive, friendly, and clearly very talented. Her cocktail recommendations were perfect, and she made the evening feel special. Truly high-level service that reflects the elegance of the hotel.
Beautiful place, great vibes, amazing food and Elena our server was just amazing. If you're looking to relax this is the place. Definitely going back.
