A great hotel for the money savvy traveller
Pros:

Nice pool and bar area. Friendly staff. Cheap room service.

Cons:

Price rise of nearly double when attempting to extend my stay from 41aud to 71aud per night. I understand this is due to peak holiday period however new years had passed and my stay from boxing day til Jan 3rd was cheaper.

Disappointed in the room we got, when we booked and paid for a different room

The breakfast was good, a lot to choose from. The staff were very friendly

Cons:

We did not get the room we paid for, when we asked staff about it we were told they were fully booked. We asked what the areas were, then when we approached them about our booking we were lied to about what our room was. The door/window didn’t not open. The blind was broken, we were above the kitchen, music was played from 7am - 10pm each night. This is not what I paid for. With no compensation.

Ibis is in a great location, close to the beach and close to Garlic lane and shopping
Pros:

Staff were great, very accommodating. Aircon was great and a much need reprieve. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom clean and shower pretty good. Room service was good, the Thai soup so yum!

There was no elevator.
