Pros:

The staff here are amazing. So very friendly and helpful. The hotel is due for an upgrade and a refurbishment, which will make the building and amenities as fantastic as the staff. Would stay here again.

A great hotel for the money savvy traveller
Pros:

Nice pool and bar area. Friendly staff. Cheap room service.

Cons:

Price rise of nearly double when attempting to extend my stay from 41aud to 71aud per night. I understand this is due to peak holiday period however new years had passed and my stay from boxing day til Jan 3rd was cheaper.

Ibis is in a great location, close to the beach and close to Garlic lane and shopping
Pros:

Staff were great, very accommodating. Aircon was great and a much need reprieve. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom clean and shower pretty good. Room service was good, the Thai soup so yum!

Cons:

There was no elevator.
