Lovely hotel. Great location, rooms a decent size for NY and are light, clean and nicely furnished. (I had spent a few nights previously in the Financial district where hotel room was dark and pretty miserable so the Broadway plaza was like a breath of fresh air!)
Staff are super helpful particularly the wonderful Peter. Thank you!
Lovely hotel in a great location on the closed from traffic portion of Broadway- just bike lane and restaurant tables in the street! Very comfortable, quiet, cozy. Staff was wonderful from the front desk to concierge- very friendly, helpful, informative. They went out of their way to send us some packages that arrived after we left and we appreciate their efforts. Would definitely stay again.
We had a great time in the hotel. Its clean and cozy. I have to give special thanks to concierge Anthony who was super helpful with the car reservation.
Definetly would recommend this place.
We had such a great stay at Broadway Plaza Hotel!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly, which really made our experience even better.
We especially want to give a big shoutout to Anthony. He was always smiling, so positive, and genuinely helpful whenever we needed anything. People like him really make a difference when you’re traveling.
The hotel itself was lovely, and we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay in New York such a wonderful experience!
Anthony was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!
I will never stay anywhere else!!! This hotel was AMAZING! I have stayed all over the US and this will forever be one of my fave hotels. Location was perfect....central to everything, subway a few steps away, restaurants up and down the street with cute little outside seating areas.......the hotel itself was small and quaint, clean, huge rooms for NYC, we had two queens but they felt like Kings...a little sitting area with tons of space for our family of 4! All the staff were super friendly....although the hotel was fully booked, you never saw another person because of the boutique style! Snacks complimentary when you got to your room....just perfect! We cannot wait to come back!
Location was fantastic
Room was clean and tidy
Staff very helpful
Great Empire State views
Lifts very slow as only 1 which was constantly used by cleaning staff
The location was excellent — perfect for sightseeing. During the day it was a little noisy if you kept the window open, but at night it was quiet enough to sleep well.
On my checkout day, I was about to call a taxi through Uber, but Anthony in the lobby called one for me instead. Throughout my trip I’d never taken a local taxi because I was worried about getting overcharged, but thanks to him I got to the airport for about $40 less than the Uber price. It was such a thoughtful gesture at the end of my New York trip, and I left with a warm heart.
It was good and clean. Also, I can see they are trying to do a good job and working.
Great location and comfortable room. Peter at concierge went above and beyond.
Very pretty atrium always well staffed. Gym was closed and we had a single large bed room but I booked two with the provider. This was not the hotels fault. Very helpful with luggage esp Anthony and advice re booking a taxi.
Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were lovely, especially the concierge Anthony, who went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.
Great location
Bathroom just ok
The reviews here are not wrong. This is a low key hotel with a terrific staff and tremendous location. Restaurants and bars surround this place not to mention it's a couple of blocks from Eataly. Across the plaza (where B'way is closed to vehicles) is the 230-Fifth Rooftop Bar. Our room was very large for a two queen room and extremely clean. Now, it just happened that we came back for a HS reunion and the Knicks won their first championship in 53 years (last time was when I was NYC ninth grader). Even though we were only on the third floor overlooking the throngs of wild fans on the streets, the windows kept almost all of the noise out, but I had to open the window so I could keep soaking it in. When we had to get to JFK to regrettably leave for home, Anthony, the concierge told us how much the fixed fee was for a taxi ride which convinced us to do that rather than drag our suitcases through the subway. Just a good guy, he helped us with the luggage to the corner when the cab he called arrived. Have to thank him for his thoughtfulness because I'm sure my wife would have let me have it if we had really been trying to catch the "train to the plane."
We stayed here back in March for 1 night when we were coming back from Europe to Australia. The room was large and clean, amazing views as well. Walking distance to lots of food and shopping, keen to comeback to New York and stay again. MASSIVE SHOUTOUT to Anthony who helped organise all our baggage and taxi to the airport, Anthony told us to leave earlier than planned due to ongoing strikes at the airport, if he didn’t tell us that we would have missed our flight. Would definitely stay here again and big thanks to Anthony again!
We had a wonderful week in NYC and staying in the Broadway Plaza Hotel was a great experience. We had a deluxe jr suite two king beds for four adults. The room was spacious, clean and had a nice living room area. We had enough room for our luggage. Our room was in the fourth floor and had a wonderful view of the Empire State Building. To see the Empire State Building lighted in different colors every night was amazing. The beds were huge and so comfortable and we slept very well. Of course you might hear some noise from the outside once or twice per night but if you stay in the heart of NYC that’s a part of the experience. We didn’t become disturbed at all. The room was good value for money.
The staff are very friendly and attentive. We were made to feel very welcome at the hotel. That feeling started even before our arrival, when I contacted the hotel by email. The staff were extremely helpful in answering my questions and assisted us with some difficulties related to the prepayment process and the use of a European credit card.
Last but not least the location is perfect. There are some very nice restaurants and cafeterias near and we felt very safe in the area. If you prefer to walk instead of takin the subway from the hotel you can easily walk to Times Square or Central Park or to SoHo or West Village and so on. One of the best things about staying in NYC was exploring the city on foot and seeing how the different neighborhoods gradually change from one to the next.
