Bel soggiorno nel cuore di Shanghai
Pros:

Ad un passo dalla Nanjing Road, fermata della metro a due minuti a piedi, camera pulita, spaziosa, ho soggiornato in 3 differenti strutture, tra tutte questa è la migliore. Set di cortesia in bagno, shampoo, balsamo, crema corpo…non mancava niente. Grazie, ritornerò sicuramente! Super consigliato.

Cons:

Rete Wi-Fi non funzionava benissimo.

Great rooms and staff, but poor Wi-Fi and mediocre breakfast
Pros:

As for the breakfast, it was very ordinary for a hotel of this caliber. I would describe it as a standard 3-star hotel breakfast, yet it was priced like a 5-star experience. Compared to similar hotels, their breakfast options are usually two or three times more diverse and much more delicious.

Cons:

The hotel's Wi-Fi was quite slow, and most Western apps either wouldn't load or were extremely unresponsive.

Hotel bien ubicado , instalaciones antiguas , poco mantenido, lo mejor Francisco !!! Soluciona todo !

Lastima el último día una persona del piso ejecutivo nos dijo que no podíamos hacer uso del el , cuando el día anterior nos permitieron ya que nuestro vuelo salía a la medianoche

Poca variedad occidental en el desayuno
Variado pero no fue fresca
Mi esposo se intoxicó con el omelette
Sacaban el hueco de una olla en lugar de romperlos en el momento … se pasó vomitando todo el día

Cons:

The air con was just too hot in the room to sleep. We ended up turning it right off and opening the window the tiniest bit for a bit of fresh air. It was really cold outside (2 degrees) but the room didn’t need to be so warm.

Pros:

I loved staying at this hotel. The location was so central. Just a stones theow away from Nanjing pedestrian street. The staff were so helpful and accomodating. They were so kind to take around 70 parcels that i ordered from taobao and sent it all in our room once we arrived.

Cons:

I actually loved everything. Probably just add more toiletries in the bathroom? But otherwise, everything is perfect.

Location!
Pros:

The best thing about this hotel is the location, right next to all the great shopping and restaurant s of Nanjing road and a few minute walk tonthe main bund area. You cant beat the location. We had very limited interaction with staff, the service staff like room cleaners were nice, fromt desk and the staff in the tax free office downstairs were kind of aburbt, and not warm and friendly as you wpuld expect from a hospitality standpoint. The room itself was very spacious with a large standing only shower. Since its winter time the room climate control is set to warm, and you are not able to change the settings. They can bring you a fan as the room doea get a bit stuffy even while its cold out. I opted to just open the window and hope no insect visiors came in. Overall we enjoyed our stay but this will be a one and done for us, there are so many options around town.

ANDY OF CONCIERGE WAS QUITE HELPFUL ESPECIALLY IN GETTING REFUND FROM THE TAXI DRIVER WHO OVERCHARGED US DOUBLE FROM AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL.

Ridiculous 5 star rating for a scam hotel
Pros:

I booked this hotel due to great reviews online and it’s supposedly 5 star ratings. Stayed from 26-28 Jan 2026, my experience was terrible. Let me elaborate:

1) Which hotel gives out amenities like toothpaste, toothbrush and hair combs at the checkin counter? Shouldn’t these be in the room - only motels do this.

2) During my stay, I switched on the “Do Not Disturb” light because I didn’t want visitors for that day. But my room was made up anyway - totally unacceptable!

3) The bath tub sinkhole is gold but this is disgustingly rusted - I could only use the shower instead. This is not 5-Star!

4) Chips and peanuts on the table put near the free coffee and tea sachets, no notice that it is chargeable. Was charged for it unknowingly!

5) Was told that one of my towels was “dirty” and I needed to pay for it. I asked for photo evidence argues that I never dirtied any towel, and even if it is - that’s not intentional. No evidence given, just told it will be debited from my deposit.

The worst scam hotel I’ve ever stayed in. One would worry if there are any valuables in the hotel room too. Please be careful.
