Lovely hotel in an exceptional location
Pros:

Just a 2 minute walk away from Nanjing road. Very well located, cozy hotel. The hotel also boasts a decent breakfast and good amenities. If we are back in Shanghai, this is definitely a place we would stay again.

Cons:

The middle area could use a ramp, we had a pram and needed to go a big round everytime we entered into the hotel to the lifts.

Pros:

Отель рекомендую. Находится в самом центре. Метро рядом. Номера отличные. Завтрак с уклоном в китайскую кухню. Для европейцев еда. За номер берут залог 2000 юаней (лучше оплачивать наличными, чтобы не было путаницы). Для Китая это норма. При выезде возвращают.

Central yet spacious
Pros:

Centrally located and spacious with a pool and saunas. Our room was large, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Cons:

There was little information about the facilities at the hotel. The senior concierge had to be questioned heavily to obtain guidance though the young bell boys were keen to help.

Was my birthday the time we are stying with them and my daughter was trying to make them understand if the hotel will share with acake without her father knowing and bring it to her then surprise me but they bring it to me? Overall thanks for the cake.

Cons:

One time we are coming back and we saw two black suits men entering one of our rooms ? My daughter ask them we put do not disturb sign ?but they respond (scurity)?

Pros:

Grand Central Hotel — немного старый отель, но условия проживания и уровень сервиса хорошие. Персонал внимательный, в номерах чисто и комфортно. Главное преимущество — идеальное расположение: рядом находятся основные достопримечательности, магазины и рестораны.

Pros:

Place was nice and clean and good location.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn't great. Not so many selections. The food was cold. I went to order an omelette, and the chef picked all the ingredients I selected with his bare hands. That was gross for me. Other hotels use utensils to do that. I never ordered an omelette again after that experience.

Room.cleaning service ignored "DO NOT DISTURB" sign at our room and kept knocking, looking for laundry. That was annoying. This happened twice.
We had to end up writing a sign and sticking it to the door to say we had no laundry. I will upload the photo for your reference.
