It's under renovation - but that's not a negative, looks like they're trying to improve and I bet it'll look great!
Location was good for what I needed, I didn't stay for breakfast. I was there for a wedding reception. Good idea to have a TV in the room but I found it difficult to actually get it to work.
I had originally booked two rooms as it was intended that my son would be going with me but unfortunately he was ill. I asked several times by person and through email that the other room be cancelled and the cost waiver, even booking.com asked but they did not comply and so for that reason I don't recommend this hotel and I will certainty not staying there in the future. Most dissatisfied especially as they actually had the gall to re- let the room I paid for.
Nice breakfast and room. Bar, function room was good and attentive staff.
The corridors on the second floor looking tired, especially the carpets. Evidence of ongoing renovations though, so I would assume that everything will be sorted once all that is done.

The first room we had the card didn't work for lights so we had to be moved to a new one

We were not advised on booking that the hotel is undergoing refurbishment, the corridors were all stripped and smelt of paint. The menu online for Harry's bar was out of date so the options we chose for food were not available.
The EV chargers did not work properly on my first day, despite me trying several times, and even asking for help from a guy at reception, who seemed pretty clueless about them. The ev charging was what made me make the original booking. However, I did get one to work (on my second attempt) on the next evening.
The light bulb above my bed was not working, but I could manage without it, & so I did not trouble reception again.
The bed is comfy and quiet that is
Receptionist very bad,,I checked in at 11pm they asked for card details in case any damage to the room happened I asked I can give them the next day they refused and not accept to cancel my booking and refund and said they will not let me in!!!that policy is not mentioned in their website,,,no even one water bottle in the room,,,no small fridge,,,no phone to call if i need anything,,wil never go there again absolutely ,,,,, rough staff
