Location was good, it looked amazing from outside. The inside was beautiful and they clearly had just had a renovation.
The music in courtyard was playing until 12.30am. We made a complaint in the morning, the staff member on reception said we should of called down and they would of turned it down- surely this is not the right practice.
They stated there was a protocol for what time it can come on in the morning but they dont have any protocol for how late into evening it can play.
We also went when it was a heatwave- however no air con and no fan provided so windows had to remain open- this added to the noise levels.
Made a complaint via booking.com and the hotel did not respond at all.
It was a nice clean hotel. The staff were friendly.

The long trek to my room
Good location, just off motorway. Nice clean hotel.
The restaurant is quite dark ,not very inviting.
We were getting ready to go out and the fire alarm went off .We walked out ,downstairs to the fire escape which lead to the kitchen. We walked over broken paving slabs. To meet a member of staff, she had no idea of the alarm going off or where to send us ( there were now 5 people) I walked into the kitchen and explained to the chef. (He was horrified we were in the kitchen. ).Explained all of this to reception on the way out ,they said they would be in touch.? They haven't.
It was fairly clean!
I was kept awake all night wth a malfunctioning smoke alarm- it was going off every hour. There was no phone in bedroom incase of emergency- there was no wifi and also tv not working- it was the worse stay imaginable!!
Nice location and clean room
Staff couldn’t find my room at first after walking around the hotel for 10 mins. Then when finally got to room the tv wouldn’t work. Got fixed but went back off after 30 mins. Only one towel in bathroom. So from arrival to till time to relax took about a hour
Not much
Flies in my room as it was located at the back off the hotel right above the bins
No air con
No coffee or tea
Hair in shower
Very helpful staff, good food, excellent shower in particular!
TV channels unobtainable, no soap in the shower
The staff were very accommodating
I had a room with the sun on it most of the afternoon. It was like an oven and I felt quite unwell. Luckily a staff member brought me a fan, but still very uncomfortable.
The pillows where comfy and was convenient for me as I had just had a surgery and this hotel was less than 5 min away
I didn’t like how the first room we was in was right next to a beer garden which was very loud,I had just had an operation a few hours prior to coming to this hotel so as you can understand I needed to rest, there was no ac or fans so we had to have the window open it got to the point where we had to change room,we rang reception and made them aware that I had just had an operation a few hours prior to going to the hotel. They then moved us to a different room which the shower was dirty was used toilet roll and also till 12:30 there was music blasting out with flashing lights, after that party had finished people where very loud still with kids running around and kicking footballs at walls(reception moved us to the other side which also had a beer garden)we had to have our windows open as it was way too hot still I was very disappointed with the whole experience I had around 3 hours of sleep,as you are probably aware after a surgery you need to rest.I want to request a full refund as I do believe this is reasonable
England beat Norway in the World Cup and were able to watch it in the bar.
No air-conditioning made the room very hot and uncomfortable.
No channels on TV (not the only one either)
Expensive considering the above
The staff
The noise!! Never had a worse night sleep in a hotel
