Best hotel!
Pros:

I had an excellent stay at The Berkeley, Maybourne Hotel Group. The hotel blends classic luxury with a modern, refined atmosphere, and everything felt thoughtfully curated from the moment I arrived.

The room was beautifully designed, very comfortable, and impeccably maintained. I especially loved the calm ambiance and attention to detail—it made the stay feel truly special. The service was outstanding as well; the staff were warm, professional, and always attentive without being overwhelming.

Good hotel - shame about the bed and getting into my room
Pros:

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff are friendly and the overall experience is usually excellent. However, during this visit, my sleep wasn’t as comfortable as usual. . Despite these inconveniences, I’ll definitely stay here again but will request a room with a proper double bed next time.

Cons:

I was given a room with two single beds pushed together, and I kept slipping into the middle during the night, which made it hard to rest properly. Additionally, when I arrived around 9 p.m., my room was still being cleaned, and I had to wait in the hallway before checking in.

I generally love this hotel and have stayed here before. The property itself is very pleasant, the food is very good, the beds are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, there was a very serious issue with how my stay was handled. The first night I was placed in a terrible room, right next to a service door, simply because I booked through Booking and the rate was considered lower. I was woken up at around 7:30 AM by cleaning carts and constant noise coming from that service area, which was unacceptable. I complained through Booking and tried to raise the issue, but no one responded or seemed willing to help. Although I was later moved to a better room, I was charged significantly more in pounds than the rate I had agreed on through Booking, and again, no one addressed or explained this. It was very frustrating, and the first night completely ruined the start of the stay.
