Totally perfect- up graded room large and beautifully designed / wet room great as I’m disabled/ staff helpful and kind- it was our 30th wedding anniversary and they made us feel very special - like to add this is the third time we have stayed here and it has been perfect every time- consistently elegant and staff consistently attentive and thoughtful

location and design
the fact that two different staff members entered our room, once while we were sleeping at night even though there was a do not disturb sign on the door. never had this ever happen. view from room was horrible nothing like I expected, looked into a shaft of the hotel.
The service was absolutely first class, right from the doorman to the receptionists, to the restaurant waiters. They were all exceptional.
Our lunch in the Savoy Grill was excellent. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
Our room was slightly on the small side. But it was perfectly equipped.
Ik kom er altijd thuis met het vriendelijke en attente team, de prettige algemene sfeer, de mooie kamers en de goede restaurants. De locatie is voor mij ideaal voor een operabezoek en een tentoonstelling in The National Gallery. Ik heb genoten.
All the staff behaved in a professional manner, always put the customer first
The late timing of cleaning the suites, staff would turn up at about 5pm, to clean the room. Then the turn down could happen any time after 5pm which seemed strange.

Very good location, the bed was very comfy and room clean and well appointed.
The first day room not cleaned by 4pm and confusing placard caused room to be uncleaned that day. The American bar isnt worth the cost of the drinks - grossly overpriced. We stay at Fairmonts all over the world and this one was sub-par.

It's the little things that The Savoy gets right, attention to detail, comportment of staff etc.
It is expensive, and I understand that it has to be to maintain those standards. I would have felt good if the second cup of coffee at breakfast had not been charged. I know it's a la carte, but a second coffee......
