Althoff Hotel Villa Belrose

Stayed 5 nights for my best friend's wedding and had an incredible stay. The service and staff were so friendly and attentive. Our room was incredible and always tidy when we came back. They have a fantastic shuttle service that will take you into town which is just 5-8 min away. Highly recommend!

Villa Belrose is truly a gem in Saint-Tropez. The location is great, about 15 minutes outside the city center, on a beautiful, private hilltop. While you can’t walk to the center, it’s incredibly easy to get there with the villa’s non-stop shuttle service. The peace and privacy you get from being slightly outside the center make it all the more special.

The views are unmatched, by far the best in Saint-Tropez.

The staff deserve special mention. They are warm, attentive, and truly go above and beyond to make you feel like one of their most important guests. Their hospitality made our stay unforgettable.

The food is also incredible. The chef creates delicious seasonal dishes. You must try the truffle linguine and lobster roll when they’re available, I’m still dreaming about them!

The decor and overall atmosphere is beautiful and so chic. It feels like staying in an elegant private home, but with the impeccable service of a five-star hotel.

Everything about Villa Belrose exceeded our expectations. I can’t recommend it highly enough and we can’t wait to return!

Spend 13k for 5 days at the hotel. Been on many hotels at st tropez.
Amazing beautiful place. We ate outside all nights expect the last one we are at the hotel restaurant. Ones the bill came they had added many extra drinks there thinking we d not see it. He corrected it after!
The food was also not good and service was just ok.
Also a very rude unprofessional conscience called Hugo who screaming and rude and refused to order a hotel chattle to a beach to swim . Reason it was 6pm and he wants fo decade what we can do. Never seen such unprofessional conscience. Else beautiful hotel and all other personal were amazing. Especially bar and pool. Amazing place.

The most incredible scenic views, large and gorgeous pool area, comfortable rooms with gorgeous patio. If you’re going to St Tropez, this is the best place to stay. They even offer a car service to and from St Tropez port. Incredible hotel and delicious breakfasts. The staff go above and beyond to welcome guests. We will return.

The fresh water pool was amazing and just like the photo. It’s pretty big for St. Tropez. The beds and pillows are wonderful and so comfortable. The location is perfect! Could be perfect but … unfortunately the service of the terrasse bar was not at the level. 2 of us were freaky with eating, the other one not. The waiter took the placemat away from under their plate!!!! Because “the boss aka us to do so”???? I was for my part so angry that I told him to take my plate too as I did not intended to finish eating under those conditions. The guy was definitely not a professional and I cannot imagine that the instruction were as he told us. I did not ask to talk to the manager as it is not my style and I did not wanted to destroy the evening more but I think I should have.
This aside the place is a dream for the view and the quietness around. The facilities are top level

There are scarcely words for our phenomenal stay at the Villa Belrose. We had absolutely no idea what to expect. It is simply gorgeous. Its views are the best in St. Tropez. Sitting on our large balcony was heaven.
The pool experience was so tranquil, Rachel was warm and fabulous. The entire staff, especially David the concierge and Patrick are sublime! There is nothing the Villa Belrose will not do to make your stay as wonderful as possible.
It is a small luxury hotel, very private. It feels like a family.

Amazing all around from the beauty of the resort, the wonderful staff for every aspect from pool service to restaurant to house keeping and concierge and drivers working the shuttles. We have traveled the world and this was a truly five star experience.

A different kind of St Trop, away from the crowds, with style and refinement ! A stunning panorama and exceptional service.

They have the best view of St Tropez! Loved everything about my stay there, including the wonderful facilities and the extremely helpful concierge that was able to book us all the exclusive spots. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The shuttle rides were very helpful and made us avoid the parking hassel.

Very nice hotel with excellent service and attention to details. Shuttle bus to Saint Tropez and the beaches makes the stay very comfortable. Spacious, well equipped rooms, great breakfast and dinner accompanied by magnificent views! Highly recommended!

The hotel itself

We stayed at Villa Belrose for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived until the day we (reluctantly) left, every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful—it’s clear the team takes great pride in what they do.

The property itself is stunning. The decor and design have been recently updated and strike the perfect balance between elegant and chic. From the top decks, the views of the water are simply breathtaking, and the pool area—with its beautifully arranged layout and plush daybeds—was a perfect place to unwind.

The food on-site was excellent; breakfast in particular was a highlight, with delicious omelets and everything else you’d hope for. We also appreciated the small but high-quality gym and the complimentary shuttle to and from town, which made everything incredibly convenient. Special thanks to Hugo at the concierge desk, who helped us secure fantastic reservations during our stay.

We also found the location to be ideal for exploring the region, especially for rosé wine tours. During our time there, we spoke with several fellow guests who’ve been returning to Villa Belrose for years—and now we understand why. We loved our stay so much that we’re already looking forward to coming back.
Honestly, we almost didn’t want to leave this review because we’d love to keep this gem to ourselves—but the experience was too exceptional not to share. Highly recommended.
