Beautiful hotel but service not in line with price point
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with all the comfort one would expect from such a place. Nice rooms with fire places! Great swimming pool. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

The service did not match the price point. Despite booking for three guests, our room had only one bed. When we called to raise the issue at 9pm, we were told it was too late to address and to wait until the next morning, leaving one of us to sleep on the floor that night.
The following morning, we discovered the water in our room had stopped working entirely. After some time without a resolution, we were finally moved to another room, which was spacious and lovely.
While the hotel itself is genuinely nice, I was disappointed that no proactive gesture was made — neither a prompt fix on the first night nor any acknowledgment on the bill. I raised the issue again when responding to their feedback email. Having heard nothing back since, it is fair to make this concern public.
In short, a great property let down by service that falls short of what the price and reputation would lead you to expect.

Pros:

It's super close to Lake Louise and has free private shuttle to and from the ski hills everyday. The staff are really friendly and lively.

Cons:

I wish the hot tub could be outside. I also have not seen a hotel that uses a physical key for their rooms in a very long time...

Wonderful boutique hotel with great amenities, good food and a pleasant stay. Good for winter and summer vacations
Pros:

The restaurant have a great variety of food and the little additions to the experience made it wonderful such as the 3-5:00 pm afternoon tea and coffee. The hot towel upon arrival to the hotel was also refreshing. The room was comfortable and beds were very nice…coming from someone who really is a stickler on hotel beds

Cons:

Upon arrival to the hotel we had the reception double charge us. I had already prepaid for the hotel on booking.com but when I got to the hotel they had charged us again for the full amount. It was not a small amount and the charge did not drop off for the entirety of the vacation. We didn’t let it ruin our trip but it definitely was a shock when we saw that double charge.

I miss the Post of old!
Pros:

Not the same Relais & Chateau experience we were accustomed to. Mix up in rooms and billing errors. Bed was not comfortable.

Dining Experience Ruined the Stay
Pros:

Unfortunately, our recent stay fell well below expectations. While the property itself is unique, the dining experience significantly detracted from our visit and ultimately overshadowed everything else. Service was disorganized and inattentive, and the overall experience did not reflect the standard one would expect at this price point. Given how central dining is to the stay, this was a major disappointment and not something we would overlook or repeat.

I'd never get tired of a day at the Post Hotel
Pros:

The day starts with a white tablecloth Austrian breakfast, then a 3-minute shuttle to the slopes, call from the hill to say you'll be down in 5, and the shuttle appears, whisks us back to the hot tub, fireplace in the room, and an elegant dinner with fine wine. Head on the pillow. Repeat.

Excellent place to stay, albeit a bit pricey.
Pros:

Charming rustic ski lodge experience, great food, and easy access to ski basin in a 4 star property. Love the working fireplaces in some rooms. Unfortunately you need to be sure to make reservations in the hotel dining room for weekends (prime nights) well in advance.

Nice place, but some aspects of service not great
Pros:

The Post is a nice hotel in many ways. The staff is welcoming, the pool, steam and exercise rooms are pleasant. The setting is gorgeous.
But we had an issue with a chirping smoke detector in the middle of the night. It made for an unsatisfactory night and was not addressed beyond an apology. We were very unhappy with the result.

Dress code should be maintained.
Pros:

The Post is a wonderful member of the Relais & Chateaux group and we enjoy the experience on each visit. However, it is disappointing that the fine dining experience at the Post restaurant is diminished by the dress code that indicates jackets and business level attire is preferred, but still allows diners wearing blue jeans and sweatshirts to be seated. There is an onsite pub available for that approach. It takes away from the experience and enjoyment of dressing up.

Pretentious but convenient for skiing
Pros:

Good location for skiing with a 10 minute shuttle ride to the slopes. King room was small with a giant fireplace taking too much space. Not enough room to store ski gear, clothing and bags. Bathroom not updated. Staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. Dining options limited to a pretentious restaurant and a rowdy pub, both overpriced. Breakfast in the restaurant had an overpriced buffet or horrible a la carte options with slow service. The hotel has a beautiful and elegant setting. Rooms were clean.
