Heerlijk hotel dichtbij het oude centrum van Tours
Pros:

Rustige en mooie locatie op een half uur wandelen van het oude centrum van Tours. Zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke personeelsleden. Uitgebreid en lekker ontbijtbuffet. Uitstekende wifi. Mooie tuin.

Mooi hotel net buiten het centrum van Tours met vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Château Belmont Tours by The Crest Collection

Dit is een ruim en sfeervol complex, bestaande uit twee gebouwen, met op enige afstand een bejaardentehuis. Het hotel bestaat uit een hoofdgebouw en een bijgebouw. Wij verbleven in het bijgebouw, waar de kamers ruim zijn en sommige beschikken over een klein balkon.

De kamer was ruim en voorzien van een kleine kitchenette met een koelkastje en koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Een mooie aanvulling zou zijn om betere (bij voorkeur witte) kopjes voor koffie en thee te plaatsen, wat hygiënischer oogt. Er is een apart toilet en een badkamer met een klein ligbad en zowel een regendouche als een handdouche.

Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van het centrum (ongeveer 20 minuten), maar er is ook een tramhalte op circa 5 à 10 minuten afstand van het hotel.

Het personeel is vriendelijk en het incheckproces verloopt vlot, met duidelijke uitleg.

Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, zeker naar Franse maatstaven, en het is mogelijk om eieren naar wens te laten bereiden.

Er is geen bar, maar je kunt plaatsnemen in de serre en daar drankjes bestellen via het restaurant. Daarnaast is er een gratis spa- en fitnessruimte, die ook toegankelijk is voor externe bezoekers.

De tuin is mooi en wordt gedeeld met de bewoners van het nabijgelegen bejaardentehuis. Parkeren is mogelijk op het terrein, zowel binnen als buiten.

Al met al hebben wij een prettig verblijf gehad.

Cons:

Een nadeel is dat het personeel al vroeg begint met opruimen en voorbereidingen voor de lunch, ongeacht het tijdstip. Dit hebben wij zowel om 08:00 uur als om 09:15 uur ervaren, terwijl het ontbijt wordt geserveerd van 07:30 tot 10:00 uur.

De ligging in Tours in een rustig deel van de stad . Het is een prachtig Chateau met een kwalitatief goed restaurant

Eigenlijk niets, wel was mijn kamer net verbouwd/geschilderd. Er hing een behoorlijke verflucht, maar als je met het raam open slaapt was dit goed te doen. Dit is ook maar een tijdelijk ongemak. De kamer was verder prima

De locatie is prachtig! De kamer was beneden de maat en te duur betaald. Veel schade punten in de kamer. Heerlijk eten in restaurant, wel voor zeer hoge prijs. Ontbijt was goed en uitgebreid.

Prijs/kwaliteit is niet in verhouding. Personeel is aan de balie correct en aardig, in restaurant vreselijk. Harde geluiden van aanschuiven stoelen en afnemen en/of indekken van tafels. Zeer krappe parkeerplaatsen.

Séjour très agreable
Pros:

Emplacement au calme, parfait si vous dormez la fenêtre ouverte. Petit déjeuner excellent, produits de très bonne qualité. Personnel d'accueil disponible et agréable, aide pour le parking. Il semble que vous pouvez réserver une place de parc (je n'ai pas vu comment faire à la reservation, mais certaines personnes semblent l'avoir fait). Possibilité d'explorer facilement la ville depuis l'hôtel à pied et de revenir en tram au besoin.

Une halte très énergisante après une longue route. Merci.
